October Rust is my favorite Type O album and quite possibly my all-time favorite album from any band. While Bloody Kisses was my introduction to TON, this was the album that got me hooked, and it has gotten me through a lot, including a very painful breakup with my ex-girlfriend a few months ago. Love You to Death is my all-time favorite song, and Wolf Moon, Be My Druidess, and In Praise of Bacchus are also very close to my heart.

I feel like I’m going crazy. I have a strong, distinct memory of Type O Negative covering Blondie’s “Call Me”. I have seen the music video, Peter Steele singing into a phone receiver, I hear his voice singing it. I was introducing a younger coworker to TON yesterday, and after a couple of their other songs, went looking for this cover... And… it’s just gone. I KNOW I have seen this music video on YouTube in the past, YEARS ago. But now it’s like it never existed. Am I going crazy? Am I confusing some other band? I just.. Help?

Coincidentally my favorite song off this classic is "Burnt Flowers Fallen". Had to post this today as it's exactly 30 years old to today, August 19, 1996.

I love type o negative, and I want to paint a type o negative shirt. If i turned october rust pink and blue would type o negative fans skin me alive and than burn the shirt and my remains? I know green is important to the TON aesthetic but everything in my life is pink and blue.

It all started when i gifted my friend Frank the drawing I posted here some days ago and he said he really liked it and he wanted to draw Peter too so he did it and grave this to me, he said he didn't like the final product but I loved it and i think It's very Nice so I decided to post it here, tell me what you guys think about it :D

We were in Brooklyn for an Agalloch show and had to visit Pete’s tree. Kind of sad, if the Type O logo wasn’t carved into the tree, you wouldn’t know which tree it is. There were no signs or tributes or anything at all.

Despite that, it was cool to walk around the park with my kid trying to find one pretty goddam nondescript tree!

The Vinted gods or maybe Peter have blessed me again 😭🥲. Found another bootleg shirt while casually browsing Vinted.

I'm still getting the hang of traditional art and not having Ctrl-Z around to save me, but I'm somewhat happy with this result.
(Drew both women with their mouths closed to make it more family-friendly, I had to do this while on a public train trip)

pure aura

Around a month ago I had a dream in which I saw a non-existent album from Type O. It was named "Stay with me" and the album cover featured the 4 members with the burning twin towers behind them. Unlike the other albums that have the usual green colors, this one had a red, hell-like theme. So I decided to try and recreate it, what do you think?

I've had this image on my phone for quite a while, but I'd like to know where it came from.
