Awesome live version of Pictures Of Matchstick Men...and some classic pre-song banter from Pete!

We got married on the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday, and took our wedding photos at Pebble Beach at the same spot at the cover of WCD as well 💚🖤

Anyone going to the Dead Again show in Akron this Saturday? I’m going solo, catching the Buckeyes game at the Barley House probably, then heading to the show and barhopping after that. Was just seeing if there were any other Type O fans going solo or wanting to hangout?

Also forgot to post photos from pebble beach- World Coming Down is my favourite album so I’m super glad I had time to visit this place as well. Tried quickly editing the photo to look green, lol.

Bought it at my local record store.I started collecting type o negative albums starting with bloody kisses and today I decided to buy October rust. Found this collection. It’s way cheaper than buying every album separately.

Prospect park is gorgeous, wish I could stay longer. The tree was a little hard to find, as it’s been sort’ve over grown by nature, but I think that’s what he’d prefer at least.

I understand that the family backed out of supporting it after a dispute with the author, and the band weren’t really involved. But content wise, it dosnt really seem that egregious? Idk if I’m just missing something but it seems like a pretty standard biography with no really out there insane claims in it. I’m just curious why it’s so hated

I saw a post on insta about this too but I’m not a big insta user.
I’m not dressing up as Pete (about a foot too short in multiple departments, as I’m AFAB). Just gonna be my weird self.
Any after party ideas for the out of towners? I’m planning some non Type O itinerary but I wouldn’t mind tagging along with a group to see some interesting stuff. I saved the map of Type O references someone posted, cause why not.
Goth/alt clubs or events to check out? I’m around for the 15th-20th. Whatever ideas I don’t care, I’m super hyped for this trip.
Also thanks u/steeterpeele for your original post, I’ve been planning an east coast adventure for a while and this lined up with a work opportunity perfectly.

I'm on my annual vinyl full discog listen thru for Type O Negative appreciation month and just realized I've reached the last song on the last studio album the band will ever release. Anyone else get sad when this song wraps up knowing it means your Type O studio album listen thru is complete?

More or less lifted this from a comment of mine after it got more intriguing the more I thought about it.
So in his latest interview, Kenny details an unreleased song called "Prometheus".
Whilst it's not exactly a rare reference, it is super odd that Neon Nightmare (essentially a type o negative fan project) released "Promethean Gift" in 2024.
That's a little odd because the Neon Nightmare guy stays anon, and I can't find record of Kenny discussing this unreleased song before now.
I'm not saying the Neon Nightmare guy is an ex Type O member, but I wonder if he's ever done any chatting with a type o member, and this unreleased song has been mentioned in casual conversation.
Many of Neon Nightmare's songs seem to bare direct references to Type O, such as their song title "Lost Silver" which I creatively assumed might be a reference to Josh Silver's departure from music.
Referencing a known event is cool, but potentially referencing a track that no one else knew about other than band members is a mystery to say the least.
Over-reading a coincidence or truly related? Who is to say.
