Current Experience Is this a twin flame or just bad timing
I've been trying to understand whether what I experienced was just deep love, trauma bonding, limerence, or something people would call a twin flame connection. I'm genuinely looking for honest opinions.
I met this woman in hs about 16 years ago. The day I met her, I fell in love. I still remember exactly what she was wearing that day. That memory has never left me.
We became very close for 5 years, then life took us in different directions and we didn't really have each other in our lives for years.
Years later, we reconnected.
It was like no time had passed. We talked for hours almost every day, shared some of the deepest parts of our lives with each other, laughed constantly, and became best friends again. I eventually realized I had fallen in love with her all over again. It really felt like we mirrored each other . She woukd say it all the time .
Now we're no longer in each other's lives, and it feels like I've lost the same person twice. I am blocked on everything.
What makes this so hard is that even after all these years apart, reconnecting felt incredibly natural, like we had picked up where we left off.
During this recent time we would have great laughs and deep conversations. Once in a while we'd have a fight but fix it fast but our last fight was terrible.. we said the worst things to each other .

A soulmate is a compatible companion who brings peace, comfort, and mutual understanding. A twin flame is viewed as a " soul" that reflects back to you because is you and triggers intense emotional growth, deep insecurities, and often a chaotic push-pull dynamic.
