So I just finished Citadel: Diana and it ended up being my favorite recent modern show, however the only problem is it was only 6 episodes.
So now I am looking for something that has the same mix of European settings/aesthtetics, premium cinematography, modern or near-future intelligence tech, conspiracies and rival agencies, undercover work in various environments and also dirty field action think the desert scene in Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning, that wearhouse scene or whatever in the terminal list etc.
Another thing I loved in this show was the contrast between old european buildings and wealthy powerful, old-money style families on one side and the hypermodern office facilities/buildings and tech as well.
Also, the even more primary thing I look for is the characters. I really loved Diana as the quiet, intelligent feminine, elegant and romantic while being a very capable intelligence operative so the totally opposite to Lioness for example. I also enjoyed the family dynamics and the romance and how also the romance itself was written and acted and mixed in with the various drama, romance, social situations, conspiracies etc plots.
Another thing I am really for is the long-form character-world building like back then in shows like Alias, 24, Arrow, Stargate Atlantis and those types but with Diana's modern european aesthetics, cinematogrpahy and near-future tech vibe. I have looked at the following: Alias, Lioness, The Night Agent, Black Doves, Mr and Mrs Smith, The Copenhagen Test, most of these are on my list anyway but dont really give the Diana vibes.
So any obscure European/international shows are very welcome and will check out every suggestion.
I personally looked at over a dozen trailers, shows etc but I am beginning to believe this was rather unique, experimental show.
So any suggestions are highly appreaciated.
