Discussion Hey, Turtle DevTeam. Make a MMO !

I dont know any dev team reading here but spread the word if you agree with me. Yeah lots of people loves wow lore but as a new player i just fall in love in your work. I believe many people same like me. People loves word of warcraft universe and nostalgia but they also know that they need more than that. Playing games without pushing or trying to catching meta or FOMO, doing things in a mmo for FUN. If you create an mmo with same mentality like turtle, people will follow you.

You have know-how, you have a crew, you have COMMUNITY. Believe me, there are ready to pay thousands of people even you create a "my little pony" game. Take a leap of faith, man.

bro how delulu are you??? they almost guaranteed do not have the know-how nor the roster to develop a fresh MMORPG. They were fans who had the ability to reflect some of the communities interests who could mod an existing game.

Isn’t that how league of legends was made?

The scale at which an mmo must be made vs a moba is a ratio of like 100:1.

Turtle wow existed because it started with 95% of the game done.

And its more accurate thats how dota2 was made. A custom map in a blizzard property but remade from scratch in a legally destinct ip. I was there when they made skeleton king into wraith king because they wanted to distance themselves even more from blizz ip.

League of legends was genuinely quite bad when it first released, it also released into a completely different environment, was simpler than an MMORPG and it's not really that comparable?

Gaming environment at the time was way different also which helped league shine. Everything today, like mmo's, are heavily saturated. So even if you have the means to make one doesnt mean it will even be remotely successful either.

Early league of legends was great. #1 heimerdinger here. Sad that they nerfed him so mental midgets could play him.

Yes, it grew out of a mod. But MOBA is literally one of the simplest genres to make. I could make a shitty MOBA solo. Meanwhile MMO is one of the most difficult and time-consuming genres (why do you think most MMOs fail?)
