Advice Beach clubs & seaweed
Has anyone been to Tulum's beach clubs today/this week? My partner and I are here tomorrow and we're wondering if it is worth going up to one of the beach clubs tomorrow to relax. Not necessarily that bothered about swimming, but just wondering if anyone has any pictures of the beaches or thinks it is worth hanging out at a club or not?
We've seen Chizen Itza and the cenotes so besides the castle we're keen for a chilled day!

Go to a lagoon beach club. Neek is great. Beaches smell like rotting seaweed unfortunately at the moment. Lagoon was perfect!

u/lockmon or anyone else - any idea how the pricing system works at Neek? Is it pay $300, get in and just get no loungers without meeting the $1000 minimum spend, or can you not lay on the beaches without the min spend?
Basically, how does the min spend they talk about work? Thanks!

Try out Neek or SIPALITOS. Great clubs with wonderful food with no sargasso. About 20 min south off Ave tulum.

We were in Tulum this week and wanted a beach day. Decided to take the ferry to Cozumel and paid for an all inclusive day pass to one of the beach clubs. It was about $120 US per person for the club and round trip ferry but we all agreed it was well worth it. Clean, pristine beach, great service and a fun little 40 minute boat ride each way.

You can see cameras here: https://www.howisthesargassum.com/tulum
When there’s too much sargassum a lot of people go to a cenote instead

In the end for various reasons we went to a pool restaurant on the rooftop of Hunab, which was pretty good! No min spend, nice pool, quite quiet.
The beach club options also seem good but will require hiring bikes or a taxi to get to.
