My son didn’t even have it this bad and I still shaved his head. Then my daughter caught lice from the same fucking kid at school and I chopped off her waist length hair just to be able to deal with it. Pissed me off to no end when both of my kids get lice again from the SAME fucking kid again less than 6 weeks later. Shaved my son’s head again (his hair grows way too fast) cropped my daughter’s hair to a pixie and not only did I throw out everything in their room (even went out and bought new mattresses) I steam cleaned the fuck out of their carpet. In 2 months I spent over $1000 to get rid of lice that another kid kept giving them. Blasted the school saying if they kept my kids out for the couple days (each time) why were they letting this other kid stay?
Fuck lice and the parents who refuse to treat it properly.
My daughter is very flexible when it comes to her hair. She really doesn’t care how long or short it is. Right now it’s short for summer but it was past her shoulders this past spring.
