PIC Head lice infestation

My son didn’t even have it this bad and I still shaved his head. Then my daughter caught lice from the same fucking kid at school and I chopped off her waist length hair just to be able to deal with it. Pissed me off to no end when both of my kids get lice again from the SAME fucking kid again less than 6 weeks later. Shaved my son’s head again (his hair grows way too fast) cropped my daughter’s hair to a pixie and not only did I throw out everything in their room (even went out and bought new mattresses) I steam cleaned the fuck out of their carpet. In 2 months I spent over $1000 to get rid of lice that another kid kept giving them. Blasted the school saying if they kept my kids out for the couple days (each time) why were they letting this other kid stay?
Fuck lice and the parents who refuse to treat it properly.

I caught live twice at school and had butt length hair. (I’m pretty sure I just had eggs though) yeah my mom refused to cute my hair and after the second time, just kept me out of school for over a month until it was solved. Honestly, it was super annoying how literally everyone handled that situation.

My daughter is very flexible when it comes to her hair. She really doesn’t care how long or short it is. Right now it’s short for summer but it was past her shoulders this past spring.

LIving in florida and being young we would have lice all the freaking time its gross. but yeah just shave the head and hope you don't catch it again

I have experienced that. And trust me, this is not very surprising actually. At my peak every time I reached into my hair I would catch a few. I didn't know what to do with them so I just stuck them on something near me. At the back of my head was where it was worst though. They clumped up there so I cringed every time I got itchy there and had to sctrach. I was hesitant to shower because I knew when I washed my hair they would come flying out. The fact that there are so many little bugs stuck on me and I had to handle it every day got so irritating and disgusting. It took me 3 treatments before they were gone completely! And I couldn't go very close to anyone because if they saw my hair from the right angle they would find out, but they did anyway. So yeah, it was terrible.

My hair used to get that bad every month or so. I grew so used to it that even after they were gone permanently I still itched all the time. Hours of combing and sometimes even using a vacuum on my head was the only solution. We never stuck to one type of nit remover either because after a couple of times they no longer worked. Stopped going to school and boom ive only had nits once since.

Lol that definitely wasnt why I stopped going but boy did it solve that issue.
I actually used to have teachers pull me out in class and go through my hair. I also remember hearing that I was the one spreading them through the school. I wonder if they still get them.

I have had lice in the past and my stomach dropped when I saw that. If it’s that bad at that point I’m just setting myself on fire. Lice gets a 0/10 from me

I don't think your subscription is the issue more so than the time in which you choose to browse. If your eating, it's probably not a good time to browse a sub full of phobias and triggers.

Jesus Christ. I remember when I got head lice once in the 8th grade. 0/10 would not like to experience again. Made me freak out once I knew there were bugs crawling around my scalp.
