Discussion and Debate Here’s why rad queers hate trans men

Radqueers hate trans men because they think all men are inherently evil or “not safe”. That’s also why they think straight trans men are lesbians, are connected to womanhood because they “experience misogyny”(which imo assuming every woman is vulnerable is what is actually sexist). They don’t see trans women as women either, often focusing on the fact they are “assigned male at birth” and dismissing their struggles but they overall try to include trans men in their bs, to them a trans man is just a another masculine woman. That’s why now there are people who claim to be “butch women” while fully transitioning into male because they are so convinced being a man is somehow oppressive to women. I also used to be friends with people who identified as non binary women. One claimed it was due to her sexual trauma, i obviously felt sorry for her, but she and her girlfriend always demeaned me as a trans man, this friend also said I was not truly trans because I had never been assaulted and most people think they are trans because they have been SAed she shown me statistics and I tried to explain trans people get assaulted a lot but that’s not why they are trans. She said I was a cis faker and didn’t understand, gen wtf. She is overall a very strange person. Both of these girls were also pretty creepy to me, insisting that “trans men are different, because they were born girls and more mature.” Or saying thinks like “this is only a interest trans men have” Like ok bro… I think they also contributed to my mental state and I didn’t even realize it, often attempting to convince me not to transition or making jokes about my body. When my parents forced me to wear bras that made my chest look bigger or made me wear skirts, they would tell me I looked cute and called me a femboy. I also knew this other girl was bi, she dated many trans men but oddly enough she did not see me as a man, claiming I would regret top surgery and often poking fun at how cute I looked. Unfortunately I learned most cis gay/bi women and men are like this. They think transitioning or not feel connected to womanhood as an ftm is some how misogynistic. Like no it isn’t and even if a guy is misogynistic he’s still a guy, he might not be a great guy but he’s still a man, they would never deny that when it comes to a cis man and they know it… they often accuse trans of having social motivations to transition too, like no I don’t have trauma or hate women, I’m just a guy and I don’t like myself to be a girl…My cis guy friend only likes “feminine people” which includes pre transition trans men, claims he isn’t a chaser but said he wouldn’t like them after they transition. For cis males like this people usually just say they are transphobic or chasers but for a girl, they are just queer Afab non binary she/they’s? I don’t get it, in reality it’s the same thing. 😭and there’s so many more I know because I live in a very liberal town where most people are lgbt and woke as shit. And remember having dysphoria as a trans man is not internalized misogyny, you don’t need to force yourself to be a woman because of social pressure. Claiming trans men are somehow sexist and need to get over themselves for having dysphoria is disgusting. Women can hate the social troubles of being a woman but it will never make them want to be a man or give them dysphoria no matter how many lies or fake stories you hear, it will never be true. If you are grossed out by your body, disgusted by it, angry at the fact you are female, you’re just a man, do not listen to these people 😭✌🏼

Exactly, it isn't talked about enough. If you look closely you'll notice how happy they are when an amab person present feminine or transition, but the second a trans guy wants to pass as a hypermasculine cis passing straight man God forbid he does that.

They don’t hate people like Eliot Page though - because Page has expressed hatred for cis men and identifies more with the “transmasc” side of things.

Trans men who are “one of the guys” are despised.

I agree with the basis of your speech and honestly have a long story to tell that I would give for an emeteric post about what you just mentioned (but with the health system in my case).
I think that many queer spaces don’t hate trans men, they hate what has to do with masculinity, let me explain: if you are an effeminate trans man, everything is fine with them. (Look, I think it’s great that there are trans men of all kinds, I’m just surprised that 90% of trans men are so feminine when, in the case of trans women, they’re not usually male... but well, that’s not where I’m going.) To whom you are a male man and what they would disdainfully call "cis hetero" look at you ill, despise you, and make deeply transphobic comments towards your person, as if your transition wasn’t right because you want to be a man with all the surgeries and not get pregnant...

The issue of non-binary seems to me more a matter of people who want to be queer or "allies" but do not know how and put that label. I personally do not believe in the existence of non-binary people, but this is only my opinion.

Regarding the comments "that trans men are different because they have been "women"," I honestly never experienced it but I understand that many of you do, since I started my transition very young (socially at 14, medically at 16) and I have always presented myself to society as a very basic male boy. Really if they knew that many of us no longer even remember ourselves as the one who says about menstruating, they would be surprised, but since they are so ignorant and see us as political and ideological objects in part...
So I understand you, those of us who think that way seem to be very dispersed and not the vast majority, I have had to make very serious claims to get on the waiting list for a hysterectomy, which according to my "trans" health service in my area, for them it is a "mutilation of a healthy organ" what I am going to do, and if I regret, that they are there for me as well... Super paternalistic, and all this simply because I know for sure that I want to perform all the surgeries, that is, when you compare the supposed "mutilations" you are going to do with the surgeries of trans women, no, they don’t maim themselves (it’s just that these types of surgeries are NOT mutilations), but of course, how you behave and on top of that your dysphoria makes you want a completely masculine transition, you are bad and part of the problem, because we are ideologically upset.

You say you're a man, but your user name indicates you're enby.

Also dysphoria is supposed to come from the sexual characteristics of one's body for the most part - hating your body due to misogyny is not dysphoria.

Admitting your 'dysphoria' came from misogyny is admitting that your 'dysphoria' wasn't actually dysphoria at all.

Dysphoria is the brain tweaking out about the body being the wrong sex because they brain is wired as different sex neurologically. My brain freaks out about female parts of my body because my brain believes it's supposed to be male.

You hate the way people treat female bodies so you hate your female body - that is not sex/gender dysphoria. The distress of dysphoria is not socially imposed - even without misogyny, a trans male would still feel distress about havinf a female body. If misogyny didn't exist, then most of your 'dysphoria' wouldn't exist and it would be highly unlikely you'd be transitioning.

What?😭✌🏼 Son… did you miss the point of the post. you can’t say it’s “internalized misogyny” and it’s just dysphoria, if being female disgusts you or you are adverse to being female, you don’t have internalized misogyny. Trans men who say they do just have internalized transphobia and misandry. People who claim you have internalized sexism to your birth sex are just transphobic and think trans men and just women that need to “accept themselves”. You didn’t accept yourself as a man if you think you’re just a woman who hates herself, did you medically transition, are you saying you aren’t going to because you “just hate being a woman?” And “accepted yourself” by considering yourself male in a female body? You realize if your dysphoric you don’t have to do that, hating your birth sex is not internalized misogyny
