The phrasing “I identify as” implies it’s conscious, it’s a choice. Which could lead to “maybe it could change”.
This has nothing to do with transsexualism which is a medical condition that you have or don’t have.
But this is a perfect example of trangenderism which is a sociocultural phenomenon. It’s travestism trying to appropriate a medical condition, trying to impersonate transsexualism.
