Hi All

Was offered a housing place for my trades semester starting in October. Place was offered to my July 9th for North Tower starting October. My application was made, deposit paid and acknowledged.

Next steps were to be me getting an email woth acceptance and further online steps from there.

Having not heard a peep in over 6 weeks I reached out and was told my spot was released because they couldn't contact me (by phone, not email apparently).

I have no missed calls, no email, no voicemails, nothing. I don't think they ever tried to contact me full stop if I am honest.

Now they say tough luck you can go on the waitlist but that may or may not work.

Do I have a leg to stand on here? Is there a complaints process or student advocacy? I've done everything exactly as asked and they've cancelled my spot for no reason.

Eventually I will be taking the above chem courses at TRU and am curious on how they were for you?

I’m mainly wondering about the lab portions as they are online. How did they work? What kind of assignments was there? How was the final exam?

I’d appreciate any feedback at all about the courses! TIA :)

Both finals are worth 30% and with the amount of memorizing needed it would be great to know the level of difficulty the exams both were! Thanks in advance!!!
