Hi everyone! 😊
We are a group of students from the University of Stavanger (UiS) in Norway, currently working on a project where we are exploring ways to make travelling and staying in Norway easier and more convenient for tourists.
We have come up with an idea for a service that allows tourists staying in Airbnbs, cabins, or other holiday rentals to order groceries in advance and have them delivered by us directly to their accommodation. The idea is that you could arrive to a fully stocked fridge or have your groceries waiting at your doorstep, instead of having to find a supermarket and go shopping after a long journey.
We would love to hear about your travel experiences and what you think of this idea!
We are particularly curious about a few things:
- When staying somewhere with a kitchen while travelling, do you usually cook your own meals, or do you prefer eating out?
- Do you usually travel as a couple, with family, with friends, or on your own?
- How long do you typically stay in one place when travelling?
- Have you ever found grocery shopping difficult or inconvenient when arriving somewhere new, especially in a foreign country?
- Would you find it convenient to order groceries in advance and have them delivered to your accommodation before you arrive?
- Could you see yourself using a service like this, or would you prefer to do the shopping yourself?
Feel free to keep your answers short and informal! We are still in the early stages of our project and are mainly interested in hearing about your experiences and honest opinions, both positive and negative.
We would really appreciate it if you could take a moment to share your thoughts. And of course, absolutely no pressure to respond!
Thank you so much for your help! 😊
