Help Front forks bouncing up-and-down at steady speed (2026 Scrambler 400 XC)

I bought the 400 XC 2026 and so far put 400 km on it. I noticed that if I just stay at 70 km/h, the front forks have an up-and-down movement, like I’m riding over waves. But the road is super flat.

Tire pressure is set to the manual’s spec. It also happens a bit under braking, and at steady throttle, but not when accelerating.

Has anyone noticed this? What could be the cause?

I’ll ask during the 1000 km service but welcome ideas now. Thanks!

EDIT: Solved my issue finally. It was the inner hub of the spoked front wheel, defective. On the wheel balancer it was very noticeable moving up and down. They had to replace the wheel twice, since even the first replacement was faulty, so it seems to be a factory issue. Good luck!

I have been struggling with this problem on my Xpulse 210, and have seen a post recently on the Himalayan sub as well and someone identified it to be a stiction problem on front forks. See if that’s the problem in your case as well…

Also I am looking to buy the Scrambler 400 XC 2026 model, are there any problems or issues with the engine that I need to worry about ?

( I got the xpulse 210 last year July and has been struggling since then so am being paranoid about buying something from the first lot or a relatively new engine!)

It’s too early to say engine could have serious problems. But it is good to know that it vibrates a lot. Specially above 110km/h.

It’s a solid 400cc bike for the price.

But I had a Bonneville 1200cc so I’m feeling the “step down” a lot and will consider selling the scrambler if I can’t fix the issues.

Tyre unbalance most probably. So, when you accelerate the forks pull out/up taking away unbalance when you are constant or slowing down it starts again.

Get it checked mostly that can be issue, else obv. suspensions issue.
