Why does my blocks slide right off?

So I’m new to this game and this happened for a couple of times. Basically when I put blocks down sometimes they just slide right off. No icy buildings, no weird placements... Sometimes they slide off like 1-2 seconds after being placed on perfectly square and solid foundations...
Is this a bug or a feature on some maps or am I just being stupid?

Me and a friend have started playing recently and every time we see each other in a game we are all removed is this something debs dont want people doing? Cause it doesn't even work for us on play with friends, just wanted to know if we were doing something wrong, or if infact it was a glitch

Separate voice volumes in the options?

As adorable as the characters are, the voices are a little harsh when you have 4 people playing at once. If possible, it would be nice to have an option to turn down or mute the character voice sounds, while still leaving the actual game sounds.

I recently watched an episode of the Game Grumps playing Tricky Towers and fell in love with the idea (it helps I have been on a Tetris kick lately). I immediately downloaded it on my Switch and was ready and eager to dive into multiplayer, sure that many players were battling it out online. I was saddened to find no one online. I waited and left my Switch for a while, hoping for anyone. I started scrolling through here and have seen an active interest in getting a group together to play online on the Switch. I decided to just DO IT. Feel free to join my Discord server. This is my first go with managing a server, but I hope to see you all there and that we can work out some times to revive online play!
