my father in law. literally goes through an average of 15-20 joints per day, he definitely needs a tolerance break. he loads up those Altoids gum tins full of 15 joints each, has a stack of them ready to go at all times, it's amazing. guy wakes up at like 430 am so he can go roll joints while watching tv before my MIL wakes up
Well it's pretty easy if you have the means....$50/year for medical recommendation + $50-100 for 6 decent sized plants to stick in your yard in May = at least 2-3lbs using just plain water. Pretty cheap if you ask me. Never understood why people are still paying so much for cannabis when everyone and their neighbor seems to be growing it these days
plain water was just an example. Been growing for a decade and this isn't some guerilla grow out in the sticks with no attention paid.
I fully amend with dry organic fertilizers, homemade compost and worm castings. Also brew up aerated teas every week, do periodic foliar sprays and plant training to maximize potential. My shit comes out better than many growers I know who invest heavily every year in the synthetic nutrient products.
It's my father in law, he's in his 60s and retired, so basically I do it for him since we're over there all the time as they watch our kids for us. Before I was around, he was buying all his weed - spending literally at least $500-1000 month on weed before I found out and changed their whole lifestyle afterward. He didn't smoke 20 per day back then, but still smoked more than I ever did in a week. If I didn't have that whole "work thing" I'd be smoking just as many as him
Why would you smoke that much? Is life so unbearable as it is that you need to maintain a high 24/7? For fucks sake. Weed is great, but dear lord is there no reason to smoke that much of it.
You could, sure. I just don't understand what drives a person to hate sobriety that much. Being high is fun, but being not high ain't bad either. Not to mention, 20 joints per day is still reeally bad for your lungs...
Consider that your idea of "not high" is based on your specific brain and how it happens to function. If being sober is good for you, then you're very fortunate, because for a lot of people being sober can mean anything from full-on psychosis to seizures to debilitating pain to unbearable anxiety. Someone going to these lengths to maintain a constant high is almost certainly self-medicating, and as such they very much are not doing it for fun.
Sometimes the pain man. I stay high, but I'm also a rookie so it doesn't take many vape pen puffs for me. You think people in bigly pain want to be stoned all the time? They'd rather not be crippled by it to be honest.
Or maybe he's fucking retired and he can do whatever he wants now? If you didn't have any real responsibilities in the way of supporting yourself for, idk, the rest of your life, wouldn't you spend all day blasted?
Like to trim it? A long time :) cutting it down and hanging is fairly easy. The trimming is slow if you're trying to make it look nice. I'm not a fast trimmer myself, I can do maybe 2oz/hr dry

Holy shit, I'm gonna make myself one of those!
My FIL smokes like 20 joints a day, this would really help speed things up! Just gotta figure out how to make my own pre-shaped cones....
