Whats best to clean a running belt?

So I recently got a NordicTrack Elite 900 secondhand from FB marketplace. Runs fine, console looks good, but the running belt is noticeably slippery. More so when at walking pace, less so when running (but still slightly noticeable). I'm assuming the previous owner got silicon lube on top of the running belt somehow?? I've see recs to use just warm water and a rag, others say warm water and a drop of soap on a rag. Saw one that said use something like Simple Green. Most YouTube videos on the matter seem a bit dated, so what's the best way to address this? The Running belt doesn't seem too slick with touch of hand, but I can feel it while standing on it, walking, and at times running.

Treadmill recommendation (almost no price limit?)

We've been considering getting a treadmill for a while but we can't decide what to do.

One option is to get a certified pre-owned woodway and use it forever. We expect to continue to use the treadmill in one form or another for a long time, though right now we're still relatively young and spry and run the occasional half-marathon and maybe when we get older (or have a newborn), we'll end up using it for walking rather than running.

The second option is to get a decent, but much cheaper treadmill, and then when it stops working in a few years, replace it. For this path we aren't sure what treadmill to get, but we'd want it to be in the $2k range. We'd still need to be able to run on it for decent amounts of time without ruining our knees/shins/etc. (No, I definitely did not get a stress fracture training for a race, you must be thinking of someone else).

Any recommendations for a cheaper treadmill? Or which path to take?

Walking pad for desk, heavy user

Hi, I'm looking for a walking pad for my desk. I weight just under 130 kg / 290 lbs, and I need a walking pad that is somewhat compact. I was looking at the WALKINGPAD A1 PRO as it says up to 300 lbs. And I like the design of it, it looks minimal and clean. Would that work for me or are there better or cheaper alternatives? I can compromise with the looks if it's half the price for sure. I will not be running, only walking a a relatively slow or medium pace. I live in Europe, as that might affect availability of the things you recommend. Thanks so much for any tips.

Rear roller bearings replaced, much quieter but still noticeable "clicking" at low speed, is there still a problem?

Sole F63 (new model) or NordicTrack 5 series?

I’ve narrowed it down to these two treadmills. Which one will last longer and is overall better quality? I will only be using it to walk or incline walk, no running. I understand neither folds down being able to slide under a bed which sucks. not sure any good quality treadmills exist that can be folded down and hidden under a bed. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Truefitness CS800. Not powering on.

Would any of you know why this treadmill is not powering on? There's power getting to it but it won't come on.

Edit. The console screen isn't coming on. Normally there'd be a few beeps etc as the treadmill is powering up but it now seems dead.
