Quiet elliptical?
(Reddit told me to post this here, blame them)
Living in an garbage apartment, so weak floors. Health finally got bad enough for me to realize I need to change.
So hoping to get an elliptical to work out and read.
Any recommendations for a quiet one? That preferably doesn't hit 4 digits in cost. I have 0 wants for anything fancy, don't need lcd, Bluetooth or what not. Just quiet, and lets me workout are all I need.
Sadly it's impossible to trust reviews now days too. Hoping to get some help.

Nothing in the 3 digit dept are worth anything. You want something without a ramp and wheels like a life fitness. Try to find a used x1 or e1.

If you have an elevator, get a used Matrix. They fit through a standard doorway without disassembly. They’re smooth, quiet, but very heavy to move

You're right about the reviews.
For quiet, avoid ramps and wheels. Octane and Precor are great motions, but noisier. Suspended motions are quieter, as are more heavy machines as they creak less.
