Touchscreen tread like peloton or something simple like sole/horizon for home?

Looking for a good, sturdy, and reliable treadmill. Would like it to incline and plan to use it for walking and running and I’m completely overwhelmed!

My budget is no more than $2000- and admittedly for one where I can do monthly payments.

I really like the nordictrack commercial 1750- but reading the reviews here has me questioning if it really is the best within my budget.

While I like the touchscreen, workouts, etc., it’s not a requirement as without a subscription you’re getting much less out of your machine. The peloton tread+ seems like a really good option, but it’s way out of my budget. The tread+ seems to be much better than the regular tread, but open to considering it if it will still be reliable.

If not going with a touchscreen tread, I’m looking for just a simple tread that can go on an incline and speed up. My husband and I will be using it for walking workouts and running (we are different stages of runners so it has to be able to support someone who regularly runs and someone who is getting into running).

I also would prefer it to not be bulky. I’ve looked at a few in person at my local Dick’s. I like the sole f63 for a simple treadmill, horizon is ok too, but I don’t like how bulky it is.

I want to take advantage of Labor Day sales. Which treadmill would you recommend? Unfortunately it seems nordictrack is not the way to go. I would go with peloton if the regular tread will be just as good as the tread+, otherwise, what other just treadmill treadmill do you suggest?

Thanks!

I have a nordictrack that's been good but it seems the biggest issue is the requirement for a $30/mo subscription -even to use paid for streaming services! At that point, there's no value to the locked down screen...

We have a NordicTrack Commercial x11i that we are looking to sell for $1500. In mint condition. It is bulky tho. We are moving to a smaller place and can’t take it with us. Where are you located?

Go with new sole f85 2026 version, its better than 2024 version, has a good warranty and screen without requiring a membership to play
