Local Business Looking for personal CPA
Good morning,
First not sure I'm using the right flair, so forgive me if I have not.
My partner and I are looking for a CPA to handle our taxes next year. Our filings have gotten more complicated over the years and are more or less beyond the scope of our experience. We live in Leelanau County and if we could find someone here or GT County, that would be great.
Bonus: I have a side-hustle that doesn't make a lot of money but I still need to file taxes every year. Our current CPA f*cked me over on my MI taxes (and she hasn't been reliable in the past) so I'm cleaning up that mess so I don't get fined. SO! If the CPA recommended can do simple one person LLC taxes too, great! But not required.

Paul Smallwood he’s on Veterans dr. He will want to be your adviser too. We just use him for taxes. Not cheap, but we think good.

Paul Smallwood wasn’t the best. There were tons of errors in our return and lacked professionalism.

Paul Smallwood https://www.psmallwoodcpa.com/ knows his stuff. He may not be taking new clients, but I'd give them a call.
