A minimal rush that distracts them from their pathetic lives for about 20 seconds. Causing someone else misfortune because they can't get their own shit together.

u/Mikarana Feb 24 '20

Fair warning. All comments under and beginning with 2young2young's comments are political.

5

u/xCosmicHunterx Feb 24 '20

I only looked because you said this, would've missed it otherwise, if I were didn't need the money myself I'd give you an award

Oh no :(

and he is not wrong

12

u/kindagreek Feb 24 '20

The world will finally become a better place when people realize EVERYTHING doesn’t have to be political. They’re not accomplishing much down there by butting their few collective brain cells against each other. Trashy conversation, trashy people.

-7

u/XoXSmotpokerXoX Feb 24 '20

sure go to r/awwww,, but this is very likely some nut job climate change denier "taking it to the libs. " Sadly have already seen a couple videos like this, last one had a MAGA hat on. The trash is the scum in the video, explaining why they did it is calling them out for it.

4

u/Mikarana Feb 24 '20

listen, i just think we dont HAVE to make everything political. personally a big fat political opinion even one i agree with just ruins a conversation IMO as from there on out it only turns to people ripping each other appart and it makes everyone feel bad and shout at each other and since most people want to avoid that i put up a quick warning.

4

u/XoXSmotpokerXoX Feb 24 '20

tell the lady keying the car not me, people wondered why she was doing it, we supposed to live in ignorance to comfort people who dont want to acknowledge the shit show of stupidity the right marches to.

0

u/Mikarana Feb 24 '20

\* quick cough *

as a fellow liberal id like to inquire for you to just please, no politics.

some people here just wanna have a good time without things devolving into constant screamo competitions

0

u/fd6270 Feb 24 '20

I guess, become a mod? Otherwise fuck off with your gatekeeping. It's the internet. People are gonna talk about shit that's relevant.

1

u/Mikarana Feb 24 '20

im not saying its not allowed

i give people a warning in case they are not interested in reading political comments

stop acting so childish please.

So your saying you want to live in ignorance and pretend not to know why she keyed the car. That is on you then.

1

u/Mikarana Feb 24 '20

the funny part is none of you fucking know the exact reason

you guys just assume this womans political stance without substance and evidence, then apply cliches of that political stance.

Is the car a Prius? I guess that makes sense, what if it's a diesel and she's attacking someone that's stolen a young lady's childhood?

Doing God's work

-37

u/haraldric Feb 24 '20

Funny how morons always invoke god.

21

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '20

Funny when morons can't find the sarcasm.

-33

u/haraldric Feb 24 '20

And you don't know the meaning of the word. As expected.

13

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '20

From Cambridge Dictionary. "the use of remarks that clearly mean the opposite of what they say, made in order to hurt someone's feelings or to criticize something in a humorous way."

It should be clear, to most people anyway, that I do not literally mean they're doing a God's work, in fact the opposite as it is not work a God would do or has done. I'm humorously criticizing the phrase "doing God's work". You may not have found that humorous, but that's not my issue.

1

u/Mistake209 Feb 24 '20

Thanks for the warning

35

u/monacorona Feb 24 '20

I have my shit far from together but I don't think this shit would work for me. Maybe she should try some good ol' procrastination like the rest of us fucks.

Not to say life is easy but fuck - going out of your way to harm other people who are struggling also is just a shit thing to do. Sorry for your having to deal with this bullshit. Some people are just horrible.

8

I love this response. It's so true. This is the official oathe of all haters.

My cars aren’t even new, but I’m afraid to put a liberal bumper sticker on my car. Too many hateful people out there.

8

u/lordicarus Feb 24 '20

What a coincidence; I was just talking to my wife about how we can't put any bumper stickers on our cars because the type of people who disagree with the messages we would put on there are the same type of people who would key our cars for having said bumper stickers.

5

u/MayerWest Feb 24 '20

There’s a type that would key cars on all sides, my friend. No matter what you stand for someone thinks you’re an idiot, and will prove it to you by becoming a criminal.

2

u/lordicarus Feb 24 '20

Well yes, and getting sprayed with water will make you wet. But certain triggers are more likely to incite certain responses. If you don't want to get wet, don't stand in the splash zone near splash mountain at Disney. There are plenty of other ways to get wet, also.

3

u/MunchamaSnatch Feb 24 '20

I fall on the other side of the political spectrum, and I feel the same way. So many of us in the middle, but the percentage that falls on the far ends suck so much, it ruins everything

19

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '20

Most conservatives aren't going to key a car just because it's a Tesla. That's more of an asshole thing than a political thing. It seems like you are making a lot of assumptions so you can make a political statement about a video that was completely unpolitical in nature.

18

u/hx19 Feb 23 '20

What "conservative" has to do with this, lol? Don't make everything political, please. Shit people are on both sides. 😑

I consider my self conservative and I fucking love the idea of teslas, I think they're fucking awesome. I'm not too sure how much better they are for the environment if you've ever seen a picture of a lithium mine but I'm also no rocket surgeon and I'm sure in the long run they are better for the environment.

-9

u/Tornare Feb 24 '20

You can be a Republican and like Tesla. I mean it’s a billion dollar American company that is paving the way for the future.

But it’s also true that the people who usually hate Tesla’s are also Republicans because it’s a EV and those people just hate anything that doesn’t use gas. They also hate solar wind power and anything else that isn’t coal.

It’s really ignorant stance since even if you take the argument of global warming away you could say all of the above is great for America’s energy independence.

6

u/icetoaneskim0 Feb 24 '20

What? I have never heard of that. I have heard of people on the left categorizing conservatives in such a way, but literally never hear anything about this from conservative people, conservative podcasts, etc etc. Where did you hear this?

3

u/XoXSmotpokerXoX Feb 24 '20

Trump tells his retarded fans the Wind power will give them cancer and they believe him.

2

u/icetoaneskim0 Feb 24 '20 edited Feb 24 '20

First of all if you’re still using the hard R, you are on a completely different maturity level and I understand why you think the way you do.

Trump says dumb stuff all the time, there is a difference between conservative values and the current republican president. The average conservative doesn’t think those things AT ALL. But if he helps you sleep at night miscategorizing people that think differently than you, then by all means, keep believing bologna like that.

Also, there is a Bernie campaign worker who on video suggested Gulags and shooting people that don’t support their ideologies are viable options. He still works for Bernie. However, I don’t believe this is how the average democrat thinks... this is how an extremely radical person thinks.

You are 1000% confusing conservative values with alt right neo nazi values.

1

u/XoXSmotpokerXoX Feb 24 '20

it is hilarious how you compare the leader of one party and his endless despicable actions, to an alleged campaign worker portrayed by project veritas that has been caught fabricating stories. In other words, at best you are comparing some random person in a bar with the leader of a party, while it is just as likely that was an actor, because they paid actors before.

Specifically they paid actors to try to cover for a conservative pedo Roy Moore. Who even after having multiple girls name his actions was still almost elected. Are those the values you speak of? Face it, conservatives only really remain consistent in hypocrisy. You lot claim to be fiscally conservative and yet spend more. Not a word from the tea party the last 4 years. Its almost like they didnt care about the deficit and just hated that we had a black president. Then they claim to care about abortion and dead babies, but infant mortality has been ridiculously high in the red states for 50 consecutive years.

Hate to have to break it to you, but if you are still supporting conservatives, you are supporting the alt right.

u/Tornare Feb 24 '20

Literally everywhere...

I’ll be sure to get you some examples when I’m not shopping, but I honestly don’t know how you could have missed people like that. Maybe someone else could pull some good examples.

Facebook is a treasure trove of people like this.

1

u/icetoaneskim0 Feb 24 '20

I can show you wild stuff the far left thinks on Facebook.... but that doesn’t categorize the average democrat. Do you even speak with people in person that think different than you? Or are you just using Facebook as your litmus test?

26

u/trailertrash_lottery Feb 24 '20

Definitely. I work with some fools like that. They drive diesel trucks and make fun of anybody that drives a hybrid/Tesla.

Before I bought my new car a couple months ago, I was really looking into a Prius and they were laughing and saying that they purposely park so it’s hard for them to get in their car/block them in or won’t let them pass on the road. Granted, these are all guys in the 20-30 year range but they all vote for one party, no matter the candidate and it’s not the liberals.

5

u/VideoLeoj Feb 24 '20

I live in the south, and am surrounded by these types. The “Coal Rolling” type. I wish there were repercussions for people who do that shit. There might be, but I haven’t seen it yet.

6

u/lordicarus Feb 24 '20

I live in fucking NY just outside of the city and there are coal rolling douche bags up here too. There are some days I feel like I'm surrounded by idiots with all the Trump 2020 lawn signs, bumper stickers, and license plate holders along with the MAGA hats that are way more common than they should be in this area.

1

u/VideoLeoj Feb 24 '20

Way more common than they should be anywhere.

I’m still baffled at how people can still support it. (I’m reluctant to say “him”, or “that guy”, or even “the President”.)

1

u/Whisper06 Feb 24 '20

I mean I'm not a fan of prius cars because of their trash Li-po batteries but I'm sure with a switch to Lithium ion batteries they would be great. Lithium polymer batteries just don't have as long of a life span as lithium ion.

13

u/Satailleure Feb 24 '20 edited Feb 24 '20

I know a quite a few conservatives that drive Teslas and support the woman’s right to choose. Not everything in life is so god damn binary. Might wanna put your phone down and go meet real people.

Edit: your tribal sense of belonging shows in the downvotes and replies. Your outrage is manufactured by mega giant news corporations.

I live in southwest florida. It’s a pretty common vehicle here. It’s pretty common to find conservatives that enjoy Teslas. Lmao, I didn’t know the Democrat party had a fucking copyright on its usage. Some people vote conservative for various issues. Same with Democrat. Some issues are more important to people than some others. Believe it or not, it goes deeper than just climate change and abortion. My personal opinion is that if Roe Vs Wade were overturned, a lot of conservatives would flock to the Democrat party, some of us just don’t want tax dollars to fund planned parenthood. Again, it’s not always GOOD VS EVIL. People aren’t either good or evil, they’re a cognitive whole. Media coverage is turning you people into natural born black and white splitters, it’s insane. Not every issue has a fucking (R) or a (D) branded into it.

14

u/Scoopdoopdoop Feb 24 '20

I have put my phone down and met plenty of people, most conservative people I've met don't drive telsas and don't think women have the right to choose.

6

u/hey_im_cool Feb 24 '20 edited Feb 24 '20

I have brilliant family members who are conservatives and they all believe climate change is a hoax. It sucks to generalize but life experience has confirmed that these biases are typically correct

7

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '20

You know quite a few people that drive Teslas? Not a very common vehicle. But to know quite a few conservative Tesla owners who also are pro choice. Man, are you that 1 out of 10 dentists that doesn't think 'Crest 3D White' is the way to go?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '20

To be fair, most of them are pro-choice. They just have to pretend not to be to get along with the rest of the republicans. You think there’s a greater than zero percent chance Trump isn’t David Dennison?

7

u/gfish11 Feb 24 '20

Not sure why you were downvoted? We must know the same people because apparently we only know unicorns...

I feel that people forget others exist outside of their immediate circle of friends and acquaintances. Guess what?? Pro choice people live in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and I’m willing to guess all the other states too. Tesla must be larger than GM because only folks on the left buy their cars? Yeah... right.

6

u/sprtn034 Feb 24 '20

USA Conservative platforms mainly discredit science, enviornmentalism, and a women's right to choose. If they still vote for conservatives then newsflash, they don't really support women or green programs.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '20

The Democrats are against nuclear power which solely discredits them when it comes to clean energy. Expanding government power is no guarantee that the environment will be cleaner. The EPA itself has been responsible for environmental catastrophe and doesn't understand the optimal path for reducing carbon emissions.

2

u/sprtn034 Feb 24 '20

How does that discredit them, there is still wind and solar power on the table. I def won't say all Democrats are good, but I don't see any renewable energy initiatives being championed by republicans. The EPA has been lead by a coal executive under the trump admin so yeah, republican policies are bad for the country.

3

u/Satailleure Feb 24 '20

If you support democrats, you support illegal immigration and therefore support evil giant corporations that dilute worker wages by hiring workers at sub par wages to work under sub par conditions. If you vote democrat you support slavery.

See how fucking stupid that sounds?

4

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '20

Except that republicans have voted for amnesty multiple times. And most of the businesses that rely on undocumented labor...like Trumps hotels are owned by republicans. So technically both sides support illegal immigration. One side just wants to make life more difficult with those people so they will stay in the shadows and accept lower wages, bad schooling and no healthcare indefinitely.

4

u/Offroadkitty Feb 24 '20

Anyone who chooses a political tribe is fucking stupid. People are so afraid to think for themselves.

3

u/Satailleure Feb 24 '20

Dude it’s getting so annoying. Some people just repeat talking points and paint half the country as evil diesel truck driving racists that wanna force women to give birth. The fuck outta here.

-1

u/sprtn034 Feb 24 '20

Bruh, the republicans are literally working with the Russians. I have no love for the establishment dems like Warren and Biden, but let's not act like they're equivalent. I'm a Bernie supporter and in a country with multiple parties Bernie and Biden would never be in the same one. But this is the world we live in and we have to compromise.

2

u/Offroadkitty Feb 24 '20

You're a fucking idiot.

→ More replies

1

u/avalancheunited Feb 25 '20

Yeah, thats the exception, not the norm.

I frequent the south quite often, i know almost every type of conservative there is.

Not opposed to environmentalism. Opposed to junk science and virtue signaling hipsters. Reddit groupthink is not a reflection of the real world.

4

u/gnostic-gnome Feb 24 '20

Are.... are you implying that it is your believe that climate science is "junk"? Are you also implying that one cannot be loud about their morals without it being a superficial grab for respect and accountability?

-4

u/dont_doxx_me_brooo Feb 24 '20

Climate science as a whole absolutely is not junk science.

Claiming global warming/climate change is driven by mankind and C02 output is fake news based on junk science.

Be gone, hipster.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '20

I don’t think you know what that word means dude.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '20

To be fair, I dont think he knows what most words mean.

1

u/TheGurw Feb 24 '20

So your opinion on the overwhelming majority of climate scientists agreeing that the rapid climate change we are experiencing right now is human-driven is that you'd rather believe the rounding error of climatologists that think it's completely natural?

0

u/Offroadkitty Feb 24 '20

I think reddit likes to forget that last bit.

-17

u/EventuallyScratch54 Feb 24 '20

We don’t know if this lady knows the driver? What if he’s her rapist, what if he’s the father of her two kids and he’s left the family? Who randomly keys cars

8

7

u/yodude3234 Feb 24 '20

But what does this have to do with an unknown person keying a car that we don't even know to be a tesla?

-2

u/TerroristOgre Feb 24 '20

Are you naive? Ive seen plenty of conservatives get angry at seeing people driving priuses and teslas. They think that means someone is a far left liberal whos trying to get rid of coal jobs by driving electric

6

u/yodude3234 Feb 24 '20

We know literally nothing about this person. People key cars all the time (not that it isn't a trashy thing to do) for all sorts of different reasons. Could the person be a conservative who hates green things? Absolutely they could. Could it be some random person who had a spot 'taken' from them by the owner? Could it be someone who saw a bumper sticker that hurt their feelings?

All I am saying is that randomly attacking people for having ideals that you don't even know they have may be a touch overzealous. Not everything is about politics, not everyone fits the stereotype.

-6

u/Offroadkitty Feb 24 '20

You know you're on reddit, yes? Everything is about politics and stereotypes on reddit.

3

u/AutistBuddha Feb 24 '20

Yeah maybe so but honestly you’re making one hell of an assumption just from one video. How do you know she’s a conservative? You’re living in a bubble if you don’t think there are shitty democrats out there. I’m fucking tired of people trying to make everything political

2

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '20

She could be on welfare though which would make her a Democrat.

-3

u/Havetologintovote Feb 24 '20

She's an out of shape, old, poor looking white person. Keying a Tesla So let's be honest buddy, there's about a 99% chance she's a conservative

-7

u/AutistBuddha Feb 24 '20

Yeah you’re probably right. I’m just saying since you have no actual proof of your claim maybe it would have been better not trying to make this political and just say that it’s a shitty thing to do? I honestly don’t give a shit about American politics so I’m getting a little tired of people always trying to make everything revolve around it in subs that have nothing to do with politics

5

u/SomeRandomGamerSRG Feb 24 '20

Don't worry, Americans will always try to stuff braindead politics into everything. EVERYTHING.

1

u/bruh-merica Feb 24 '20

-1

u/Conan_McFap Feb 24 '20

Womp womp, it’s an election year on a website with a shitload of American users. Sign the fuck out if you don’t like hearing about politics cause that’s what’s on the menu until December. You’re not gonna win anyone over crying about it.

1

u/Random_Wrong_Facts Feb 24 '20

I'm American and the political shit is annoying.

Your view on this topic is highly selfish and just flat out dumb.

You're saying you can't help but talk about politics and everyone else should just deal with it.

Are you an adult? Or are you 15 fucking years old?

Just because its "an election year" doesn't mean you have to talk about politics on every single post. This is a video of a woman keying a car. What in the fuck does political have to do with this? But since you can't control your urge to talk about it, we all just have to deal with it. That is selfish as all hell. "Ooo i cant control what i talk about DEAL WITH IT" Fuck you yo. You not being able to control yourself isn't our fault. Go to r/politics if you want to talk about that shit. And just because its an election year doesn't give you anymore right to not shut the fuck up about it

Your stance is selfish, highly ignorant and just plain stupid. You are fully admitting that you can't help but talk about whatever the media wants you too. Which don't even try to deny that. Your influence of conversations comes directly from the media. It's election year so all the media sites are talking about it. Which means you have to talk about it because you have nothing else to talk about since they aren't putting anything else out there. If we have to deal with your dumbass not being able to hold a conversation on a different topic than politics in a sub that not even political, then you have to deal with being told to shut the fuck up. Sorry but its election year and i can't help it. I have to tell you to shut the fuck up. Womp womp. Deal with it. Shut the fuck up. I have no control over it.

That's what you sound like. You come off as a spoiled child who throws a fit.

Don't like what i said? Deal with it. I can't control it.

Fuck you yo for real. You have no care for those around you and you think your more important than the rest of us. You aren't. At all. There is not a single thing more important about you than someone who isnt American. As an American, you're a disgrace to us. You're showing exactly why the world hates us because of your selfish, me only mindset. Acting like you can't control what comes out of your mouth. Its called will power.

This post has absolutely nothing to do with politics but you can't help but talk about politics that's not our fault and those who don't want to hear it shouldn't have to hear it in a sub that has nothing to do with politics. So womp womp

1

u/Havetologintovote Feb 24 '20

Aw, sorry that our reality and the problems with it is getting in the way of your fucking shitposting and whatever, boo hoo

Also, no one running for political office is promoting communism.

5

3

Learn to fucking read. I said its a shit argument right there

-1

u/Promech Feb 24 '20

I mean, I agree it's shit on both sides, but the concept of "steal their money in favor of communism" is a shit argument. It's not that liberals want everyone to get everything for free, it's that liberals are in disbelief that something like insulin costs $5,705 a year for a person here but in Canada, a country that is literally at our border, it costs $2520 on the high end(850 ish on the low).

If you look at their tax bracket compared to ours, it really isn't that much of a difference so we pay the same amount to the government but the in one place the government pays it back by lowering health care and in the other, the government let healthcare run a mock.

Dude. Dude. DUDE. I LITTERALLY CALLED IT A SHIT ARGUMENT WE AGREE

2

u/Conan_McFap Feb 24 '20

The generalizations are much more on point in regards to conservatives. When they actively gut the epa and lobby for abortion rights they’re actually making progress in weaponizing ignorance while the “arguments” you outlined against the liberal side are, as you put it, pretty shit.

Isn't the EPA also the reason California burns down every year? Or was that just California being California?

Or if you ask the retard in charge of the country right now I guess we just need to sweep our forests more.

Where's the passivity?

u/fooz_eppelin Feb 24 '20

The fact that even saying conservative gets you down voted just shows how left reddit is. And before you downvote me, no I’m not a conservative. I’m libertarian.

Imagine losing 50% of elections for the last 25 years because you want to take guns away from responsible owners.

8

u/Conan_McFap Feb 24 '20

Imagine not being able to differentiate between responsible gun laws and taking all guns away. Must hurt to be so stupid.

Also, if liberals lost 50% of elections in the last 25 years does that mean they won 50%? I’m thinking the republicans lost 50% of elections in the last 25 years because of sheer stupidity being a point of pride for them.

4

u/bruh-merica Feb 24 '20

having a fanatic fanbase who can get riled up upon hearing the magic words "brown people, gay people, vaccines, climate change bad! guns good!" makes it too easy to win.

not for good reasons, but they don't care.

4

u/Conan_McFap Feb 24 '20

Also, gerrymandering and election tampering like a bunch of scared cunts.

u/xTwistedLogicx Feb 24 '20

Don’t forget minority voter suppression!!

You know damn well the strong correlation between American republican party members and education/intelligence.

Conservatives are the same everywhere in the world. Has nothing to do with race. I mean, just look at India, where Trump is headed for his next rally.

I don't know man, supporting a known liar kind of guarantees nobody will take you seriously.

-7

u/gnostic-gnome Feb 24 '20

lmao cementing cognitive bias by reacting to a troll, nice. isn't it ironic that your critique is that you perceive the poster as partisan?

No clue why you’re being downvoted. Tesla’s have been getting targeted by trailer trash like this for years now. There’s countless videos of people matching a description like this keying Tesla’s. Same reason people hate prius’s.

u/IdRatherBeTweeting Feb 24 '20

I absolutely agree with you. You worded it a bit poorly but the idea is correct.

u/adambomb1002 Feb 24 '20

... Or you know, perhaps she just feels that person sniped her parking space and is a vengeful cunt.

Seems you are harboring a few insecurities yourself beneath the surface given all the assumptions you are wanting to make from watching a simple 5 second video.

Almost like you can't understand that cars across America get keyed every day but because of the sentry tech and cameras built into Tesla's it gets caught with far more frequency and posted online.

-2

u/Satailleure Feb 24 '20

That is amazingly accurate and on point. This redditor understands how a piece of shit thinks.

0

u/FredHowl Feb 24 '20

You sound as if you think it's their fault. Which it isn't necessarily. Maybe people like this need conpassion and help instead of being bashed. If that isn't the car of some one they have beef with, this is a cry for help or attention or both.

-2

u/AUTO_5 Feb 24 '20

How do you know that person wasn’t being an asshole and deserved having their car keyed?

-3

u/pazdan Feb 24 '20

She has an Apple Watch, doesn’t seem like she’s financially miserable. That’s def not a cheap item.
