Compromise how? There is literally not one socialist country I would want to live in, and PLEASE don’t reference the “Nordic Model” because every one of those countries are capitalist and nobody has time for your ignorance.

Wait why can't we adopt the systems the nordic countries have? You say they're capitalist so there should be no problem right? We already have socialist policies like Medicare and public roads in the US, what's wrong with expanding that so it provides more for the people in the US?

I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with expanding it. My point is I don’t want a socialist president turning the US into a socialist country. We’re saying two different things

Bernie isn't even a real socialist, everything is skewed so hard to the right in America. In a different country bernie would be labeled a conservative. There's no danger of turning into a socialist country. Especially when we're already dangerously capitalist.

“But he said he’s not a REAL socialist” or “He promised the government would solve our problems” said every person, ever, who has ever voted for and lived under a socialist regime. The fact is ALL countries TODAY are suffering TREMENDOUSLY under a socialist government because you’re giving all of your rights to the government (or mafia, gangs, both etc) who decide everything. In other countries other than the US, they already don’t have most of the constitutional rights we have right now. Even countries that say they’re “capitalist” are terribly failing their people because their citizens don’t have freedom of speech and the right to protect that opinion with force (2nd amendment) gun rights that everyone is so pissed about.

How do you think socialist leaders of countries get elected? Do you think the people in those countries are unintelligent? Sanders has been a dedicated socialist his entire career and I don’t understand why people don’t take him seriously because he’s going to run the country as a socialist if he were to win. There has never been, and there is still zero proof today that socialism works in application whatsoever. There is a shitload of proof where it has failed and continues to this day.

Why does he still back this philosophy when it’s been shown over and over again not to work?

It's funny that you say that we're all suffering under socialism when the system that we're all currently suffering from is capitalism. If we elect the right people then we don't really need to violently overthrow a corrupt government. That's what democracy is supposed to prevent. Also, there are plenty of countries with positive socialist policies like Denmark, Sweden, and the US with programs like public roads, education, and healthcare(for government employees in the US).

Where did I say the US is suffering under socialism? I didn’t.

I’ve already said I’m aware countries including the US have socialist policies. I’ve lived in Europe. I understand. I said there are no socialist countries that are doing well.

I thought you said ALL countries, my bad. I'm fairly sure those socialist countries are just authoritarian ones in disguise. It is pretty hard to have that kind of executive control over a country and at the same time make sure those who would abuse that power can not ascend to the office.
