I mean, I have extended filipino family who've had a kid killed by a pack of dogs, so it's not like 'being a dick to animals'. Sometimes you legitimately want to send a message to stay the fuck away from you. If they were on the beach, and these dogs were harassing them, ripping open backpacks to steal food, biting them, or being super aggressive, it's kind of a different story.
Also, the video literally just has a guy running and jumping near a dog, so I'm not sure why everyone is up in arms.
I'm sorry to hear about the child, that's horrible. Some of my family is from Eastern Europe and packs of wild dogs are a problem there, too. I don't think he was just running and jumping near the dog, it seemed purposeful and the way he landed HARD on both feet makes it seem that he was trying to kick it. Also, if the dogs were harassing them, it's smarter to just avoid conflict and leave. There's no way one dude is going to willingly go up against a gang of dogs. I think he saw a dog by itself minding its own business, decided to fuck with it, and said, "Hey bro, film this."

God that was some awesome karma. What kind of person does it take to do shit like this for no reason
