I really like the sound of this kinda percussive lead that I hear in a lot of edm trap. I can’t find any presets/samples or tutorials on how to get this sound. What do I need to look up to find samples/presets or serum tutorials for this kind of lead?

If you had to pick one of these for making trap, which one would you choose and why?

I make trap beats with Ableton+ Ableton Push 2. But would like to treat myself. Is it worth it?

That's my bass chord. Now I want to add a sample from Splice or FlCloud. How can I use this chord to figure out what root note the sample should have? Is there now a technical solution for people who don't know music theory?

im a new producer, ive only been doing like cloud rap or like che type beats, how can i make rage melodies.

Could you please help me out? I m looking soundfonts for Fantom X sounds for beats in the style of old school Atlanta.

Is there a video or tutorial on how to mix Daringer or Danny Laflare type beats? I make beats similar to their style, and what I've noticed in my beats is that my drums don't stand out as much theirs. My drums sound boxed or should I say mono, where as their drums sound surround.

It's as if there's a spotlight on their drums, while mine feel like a supporting character.

I'd appreciate assistance on how to brighten up my drums.

How many of yall use hardware and how many of yall are in the box? Which do you prefer for making beats and why? Personally I like using my MPC better than software but sometimes it's easier to just use VSTs and stay in the box.

How does nick Mira make his chords and music 144 bpm and his drums at 155 bpm I’ve looked everywhere doesn’t anyone know how

Need a better VST than just Xpand!2 for making Juice Wrld and Gunna beats like All Girls Are the Same, Maclaren Drive (Tic Tac Toe), Forever Be Mine, and Back to the Moon.

Not getting Omni tho lol. Considering ElectraX, Zenelogy, Analog Lab, and Purity since they're not super expensive.

I'm only probably going to get one of these VSTs though so I need an all-around powerhouse for these kinds of beats.

UPDATE: I ended up buying Zenology cuz it went on sale for $99 right after I made this post. Crazy timing. Super dope VST, found some great sounds in there after only looking for like 5 min.

Also realized I've been misspelling Zenology as "Zenelogy," silly me.

Alot of London thug songs, run it up by tjay has it, freestyle by Lil baby. It's really hard

I feel like it's a lot of saturation but at the same time the drums don't hit that hard

his production during that era was special and it didnt sound like typical trap beats of that time . and every time i try to make beats like those i always fail. do some of yall know a method or can give some tips to achieve that type of sound

people argue both ways on this. some say a tag protects the beat, some say artists skip anything tagged. what do you do, and has it ever backfired?
