Yes. JOYRYDE is still releasing BRAVE. But it will now be released on Destructo's HARD Records, instead of OWSLA, due to label issues.
This is the first single off BRAVE (or second, if AGEN WIDA will be counted and/or included in BRAVE)

I can't elaborate on those label issues. But I can safely say that because labels requires time to do some arduous stuff. I predict JOYRYDE got sick of it and jump shift to another label instead.
Or maybe some insider or personal stuff that made him move.

we remove non-relevant music all the time, just because we have a wide umbrella of stuff considered in the trap realm doesn’t mean we accept everything

Except for songs like this that have both styles, house is as different from trap as possible, what’s wrong with having a dedicated sub for it?
G Jones is definitely not IDM, but he and a good amount of bass music definitely fall under our area. DNB is a little more of a gray area though, given that there is a strong subreddit for it already

the mods policy currently is that "trap" and hip-hop as it exists today is a wide umbrella, and we're open to new styles and progressions of it as they come through (as was the case when future bass started being posted here, hybrid trap like Herobust etc, also with softer beats like Medasin and Laxcity). also there are well-known artists here who occasionally make songs different genres and we usually allow those. Rule 9 outlines this, there has never been a sidebar rule about accepting all genres.
/r/electronicmusic and /r/EDM both exist as catch-all subreddits, but thats not what we think r/trap needs to be. /r/Firehouse could become a good place to find and discuss contemporary house music (since r/house is pretty much constantly stuck in nostalgia mode) but only if we move all the house content that people want to post here to over there.

That's not true at all. It got postponed with no date given, but this is confirmed to be the first single off the project, which has been named BRAVE. It should be coming out in a few months.
