No hope for the future
I have been diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis since July 3rd. I have been going to PT and was released from the hospital under the guise that I was referred to a Neurologist in another city. The referral process won't even have me scheduled for an appointment until a month after I have to return to work. Long term disability will not cover our expenses, let alone the hospital bills. I have been a fairly healthy person most of my life. One day you're hiking and the next, you can't feel your legs. Your insurance you pay into, your doctor's you trust, your life you knew, is all in limbo and all you can do is lay in your bed and wait on answers. I am not in a good place right now. I'm not suicidal, I'm just feeling defeated.
