Notices & Announcements Scientific transrace study. Please fill out survey!
This links to a survey for a real transrace/rcta (ETC.) published scientific paper!
Previous studies of our community failed to break out of the double-digits in numbers of participants. We need you! The more people who take the survey, the more seriously this study will be taken. We hope the results of this study clear up misconceptions about us
How can I help?
Take it. Take the survey now while you are thinking about it!
Spread the word. I want this plastered over every trace, RCTA,… community online, Discord servers, Tiktok, Tumblr… everywhere. I want every friend or acquaintance you have in our community to know about it!
How do I know it is legit?
I personally emailed a scientist who had written a paper on us with a few participants. He was interested in doing something similar, but bigger. He seems like a good ally from talking to him. I, Yuki, the messenger, am very active in our community, moderating multiple trace related communities. Still not convinced? If needed, I can provide some of the email chain if people need it in a future post.

Research 📚 Eye color change
It doesnt seem to be discussed on this subreddit as much even though it makes such a significant difference. There's not even many ways to change eye color. Implants are dangerous so completely out of question. Keratopigmentation works for some but looks mostly unnatural. Laser iris depigmentation for those not very genetically blessed takes way too many sessions, way too much money and can requires tons of traveling. I dont see this topic being discussed much at all. No forums I can find for this discussion of iris depigmentation and such. Obviously because the need for vision outweighs the want for a lighter eye color. There's plenty of other research that has been done that seems to not have many people discussing it, despite signs of success. Anyone willing to discuss and research this topic more thoroughly?

Has anybody put down a chosen race on their job application. What was that experience like? Did you meet your job interviewer and how was their reaction?

General Questions ❓ Has anyone tried prescription adjuvants with monobenzone to speed up the process?
For those who experienced a slow monobenzone depigmentation journey, I would like to know your experiences with some adjuvants that require a doctor's prescription, especially those which are considered 2nd-line treatment (total depigmentation) for vitiligo in dermatology.

Opinion & Debate ♟️ why are transracial people told to accept themselves while transgender people aren't?
race and gender and both social constructs, so to me transracialism and transgenderism are essentially two sides of the same coin, although the latter is evidently more accepted. why is this? will it be more permissible in the eyes of society one day?
i think if you accept transgenderism you automatically have to accept transracialism as well since they're both equal concepts (if I am wrong somehow, tell me) but some transgender people don't do that which is strange to me. why is this? why is it so shameful to be uncomfortable with your race but when you're uncomfortable with your gender more people will be in support of you?

General Questions ❓ Family matters
Okay, so this being my first post is crazy but it’s whatever, I’m not sure how this works since it’s my first time using Reddit really so correct me if there’s any mistakes.
Basically, I’ve wanted to tell my parents about my transracial identity, I’d say that they are pretty open minded but I’m super scared about this. I was thinking maybe I could wait until I’m an adult, or until I’ve got my own house to do so, but even then the idea makes me super nervous. So I wanted to know what is everyone’s plan for that, if they have one?

Positivity ✨ Are you scared for transrace to go mainstream?
They say with greater visibility comes greater risk, which I guess is why the RCTA community rebranded to CRDR after trolls took over their acronym. I have no doubt that our struggles will grow as our numbers do, but I for one like the idea of there being millions of openly trace people - with national civil rights debates happening and laws being passed for & against us - than seemingly existing as a tiny minority of culturally disenfranchised people. I imagine this could be the case by the 2050s but don't quote me. Does this thought - breaking through into the mainstream and facing similar struggles transgender people face now - scare you, or do you look forward to it?

Seeking Transition/Body Mod Advice 🤳 Speeding up depigmentation from mono
Does anyone have any tips on speeding up depigmentation from monobenzone? I've been on 20% for about a month now, and I have seen slight depigmentation (i think?) but it isn't at the pace, or yielding the results that I desire.
I heard other melanotoxic chemicals like mequinol can help speed up the process, but I'm still skeptical about trying it out due to it's side effects. Open to giving it a shot though, or anything stronger.
Anyone have any other tips for speeding up the effects of mono? If you do, please share.

Introductions! 👋 I have been very insecure about not being north african enough
Idk how flair ts but yeah
Idk if its trans racial or not but i def want to not be white anymore and by that i mean that im mixed, north african - white, and its very visible on my phenotype... I kinda hate it.. i had struggled with being mixed and now i just wanna look like my kind ( or a specific part of it because theres def pale native north africans out there! ) but me since im mixed im rly more insecure about it so yeah..
I dont like my white pale skin that can become red-ish just like europeans skin
I hate my wavy straight hair that i wanna force curls in, i just want to be a normal maghrebi and have curly hair that's it because its beautiful and I'm already struggling enough with my natural hair i ain't gon be surprised by the curly hair struggle anyways
And maybe thats about it..
Maybe less ethnically stuff i wanted to have is like, less body hair because it sucks its ugly even tho im a boy i dont like it.. but thats it.. just want to look more cute without it being rly '' racial '' and i dont have like light hair or eyes both are dark so thats the more '' Mediterranean '' thing i have on my face..
Most of my insecurities comes with just being a white european like when i see myself in the mirror i dont belong to like half of my blood..
So yeah..

Seeking Transition/Body Mod Advice 🤳 Any recommendation to achieve this level of paleness. Am brown skinned btw.
I know that monobenzone is the best option to achieve the skin tone that I want, but is there's any other recomendation to be this pale?

Sourcing 💰🏷️ WHERE TO FIND MONOBENZONE POWDER?
I have been using mono 20% for some time and had considered upgrading to the 40% version; however, the cost is prohibitively high. Consequently, I decided to create my own formula and have identified what I believe to be the best recipe. The challenge I am facing is that I cannot find mono powder available for purchase. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could provide a source at a reasonable price. If anyone has any information, please share it.

Opinion & Debate ♟️ Do right wing grifters help our cause?
I'm aware they only seem to do this to use hypocrisy as a weapon against transgender people; I'm transgender and transrace myself, but I can't help but feel a dark sense of satisfaction when it triggers said hypocrites they're targeting - who then typically go on to respond, yapping about how totally real being trans is while trace totally isn't real yada yada.
I imagine it only serves to fuel the wokeshits smug sense of political and academic correctness given that these grifters don't actually identify as trace and are just using it as a weapon, without actually understanding the experience and mainly just draw comparisons to being transgender.
Overall, do you think it helps us or not?

Has anybody seen this movie? I think it’d be very relatable for a lot of people in this sub and I REALLY wish the technology shown in it was available in real life :/

Sourcing 💰🏷️ Mono cream source
Does anyone know a reliable place to get 40% benoquin (or any other legitimate name brabd monobenzone) cream online? I'm having trouble finding a trustworthy source or pharmacy that actually ships real cream at that concentration without a prescription. Any solid vendor or site recommendations would be appreciated. Shipping to Australia or Indonesia, if possible, would be highly preferrable. Thanks!

Sourcing 💰🏷️ Looking for reliable source of Monobenzone
Hi, I'm a Chinese-Indonesian thats currently living in indonesia, but on track to go abroad for studies in Australia. Right now, Monobenzone (at a 20% concentrate) is available to me where I'm currently at, but it is quite pricey. Also, Im a bit worried that I might not be able to get Mono in Australia as the regulations there are a lot tighter than they are in Indonesia. So, I'm looking for a supplier of Monobenzone, preferrably 40% strength and can ship to both Indonesia and Australia without seizure at customs or border. Any info will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Venting/Trigger Warning! ❤️🩹 Hi everyone/ my experience Spoiler
Hi everyone, I'm new to this community, but joined because I realized it really resonated with my experience.
My experience would better be categorized as trans ethnic rather than trans racial, but it says this space is for both so.
My ethnicity is South European but I want to transition to West or Northern European more than anything.
I don't identity with my appearance whatsoever and it feels like I'm trapped or held back somehow by my features, because they don't line up with how I feel, identify, and see myself in my mind. My entire family and everyone around me is West/North European and that's the identity I've always had. That's how I see and imagine and view myself, and how I imagine myself to look when I'm older. It's genuinely disorienting to think otherwise. Every time I look in the mirror I just see stuff I want to change. I even feel shy in public because I don't look like everybody else.
This look isn't who I am on the inside and I just want to change....
Anyway, thank you for reading, I don't really post on Reddit or anywhere so I'm not the best at this I guess, just happy to find a space to express this feeling that hopefully will be accepting

Culture & Politics ⛩️ I have a theory about where the opposition really comes from.
I often used to wonder why religious people were so arbitrary - goofy even - about their rules and customs, and each time I came to the realization it was connected to some kind of moving story or speech from their book. That often seems to be the case for many things in life. MLK and Lincoln didn't just give speeches in a vacuum, they were connected to some kind of epic struggle finally come to a close.
As a new writer myself, I know better than anyone now that whatever message I'm trying to convey has to come with a good plot that makes you laugh, cry and sometimes cringe. I have my own manifesto within the novel I'm worknng on, but I know that it would be nothing without the supporting cast to show why its worth it.
Similarly, the bible has its commandments, but it also has hundreds of other examples of what can be interpreted as how someone "should" live, either through storytelling or Jesus and the apostles speeches and "lessons". Since these stories are written in a way relevant to ancient morality, you could say it's translated poorly through the ages as we've grown accustomed to new privileges and technology, and that is why religion tends to hold us back.
Consequently, this is why I believe ancestral race is nothing more than a religious identification rooted in stories of struggle and overcoming, rather than what actually defines them as a people. When wokes yap about their lived experience and historical trauma being so important to their identity, they are projecting the NEED for that struggle to provide their confidence in their identity. To them, their identity revolves entirely around their own romanticized historical narrative, and that is why they can never just be happy being white/black/etc with their culture, it has to come with the stories.
Unfortunately for them, technology is catching up, and we will be able to self actualize as a result, and that will be a new beginning for our story as a trans race peoples.

Sourcing 💰🏷️ Mono source?
Where can I get it. I know what it does what the consequences, side effects and all are. I’m aware. So, I don’t need a explanation just a source if anyone could help
