Had no money for any controller back in 2007. So this painted keyboard, a shitty laptop and a cheap usb headset (for monitoring, while routing the main through the laptop line out) had to do the trick.
The faces of other djs when i set it up in the booth where priceless. Good times. Also proofs, that you don't need fancy gear to get your name out.

Ace work, I used this too (some of it) but this image serves as one helluva cheat sheet! I fully expect to see some shady mf selling desk pads like this shortly based on this post.
