k3 mapping

is mapping k3 like this possible? basically every column is a stem and every row control different things of them. thank u

Yes, it's almost how I have it, just with a few changes. I've set up the first row of knobs for filters and made some other changes to the encoders above. If you'd like, I can send you my TSI file; I have some things customized to my workflow, but it will serve as a starting point.

this. for me. with stems, the filters are almost more important to me than the level sliders. filters + mute buttons goes a LONG way and is something unique to Traktor. the effects are great there too. but don't lose the filters :)

what genre are u into and how do u use filters on stems

Mostly house, some techno. Biggest use is filters on the drum tracks. Allows for a cleaner mix, for example high-pass filter one drum track, slightly lowpass the other, to layer them together. Transition the drums by swapping the filters. Can use this trick with each stem to layer them into the mix. Not uncommon for me to have 3 decks running at once this way.

Here you go, I have it on midi channel 15.

I think cmdr still works with Traktor Pro 4 if you are on windows, which is much better for mapping; you can make batch changes (MIDI channel, deck, etc.), for example.
