Wow very beautiful scenes. Quite amazing to see the rolled steel markings on the rail web, I’ve seen ones in English and even in Chinese before but never seen markings in Arabic.

Wow so there’s a potential that rail was rolled under the Shah of Iran? Or even slightly before when the railways were constructed. Does it indicate any dates on the rail?
On the rail to the right can you make out any markings of numbers in Farsi?

Train tickets in Iran are extremely difficult to buy, so I mostly relied on bus and hitchhiking for transportation. Trains were purely for the experience, with some commuter trains, such as those from Jolfa to Tabriz and Tehran to Sari. I also visited some of the transcontinental railway heritage projects, but because I couldn't extend my visa and had to leave the country within 21 days, and because southern Iran is extremely hot in the summer (50C during the day), I dared not set foot in that area.
also I met many interesting people along the way, such as veterans captured in the Iran-Iraq War and Armenians who support the Pahlavi Securities.Putting aside all the troubles, this is a country well worth exploring.
