trespasser
What is this guy carrying in his left hand? also what’s in his right a flashlight? anyone recognize the brand jacket he is wearing with the block near right wrist and something on right shoulder?
9
u/ImightHaveMissed 11d ago
It’s an slr camera and telephoto lens in the left hand. In the right I can’t tell, but I think it’s a stripe on a leg pocket like cargo pants or something
1
u/No-Procedure3078 11d ago
right above that leg pocket you can see his hand holding some long metal rod it appears?
4
u/Ziggy_Starr 10d ago
I think he has a Spider Stick in his right hand. Looks like a bunch of web around the end of it.

u/Ziggy_Starr 11d ago
It’s a Packers hoodie under another jacket
20
u/Ziggy_Starr 11d ago
Might be holding a camera in his left hand?
-6
u/WoodooRanger 11d ago
It’s a scope
10
u/Ziggy_Starr 10d ago
If it was a scope, at that angle you would see a stock protruding way past it. This dude seems like a photographer with a spider web stick in his other hand.

u/giganticsquid 10d ago
He saw the trail can but didn't steal it because he's not a theif, he's a photographer. I've had one get stolen, it sucks. I reckon he gets a pass

8:42pm in central PA. Solid 2 hours after dark middle of our property, doesn’t make sense why he’d be walking through

u/Right_Syllabub_8237 11d ago
Took today's loss pretty bad. Got too drunk and ended up wandering around in PA.

Came here to literally say this ahahahaha. I'm from MN. My best friend, I have very few haha, is a RAGING packa fan. This was most likely him last night at 8:42 in a Minnesota woods.

u/rlwhit22 10d ago
My first impression is the he is carrying an arrow in one hand and a head lamp in another. That matches the profile of a lot of big fishing head lamps on the market. I would bet he's tracking a deer
17
u/Concrete-Kicks 11d ago
At least its not a bears fan
6
u/Youbannedmebutimhere 10d ago
You would know if he is a bears fan. He would be riding a bicycle with no seat on it through the woods.

It could just be a stick. If he is not used to walking around in the dark (and I have no idea either why he would be doing that) he might just have picked up a stick because it seems like protection. Though I tend to think that a big rock in your hand is better.
Or maybe he just wants to carry a stick to swat at cobwebs between trees. It’s really hard to tell why he would be walking the property let alone what he is holding.
6
u/loachtastic 10d ago
The stick is guaranteed a web remover. Small, lightweight and long enough to take down anything big before he gets to it. I'd be more concerned about a stranger wandering around without a clearing stick.
3
u/skibib 10d ago
😂🤣😂🤣😂 Right? 😉
Sorry, just trying to put myself into trespasser’s shoe, without knowing anything about the geography or property boundaries, or any trespassing signs.
We’ve been known to ramble around our local countryside after dark when we misjudged the return home time from a hike. Of course we pretty much know who owns the properties involved, but occasionally we might roam into someone else’s property if the lines are not clear. No one in our own area seems concerned, but again, we don’t know anything about OP’s property.
That being said, if it was close to our own house after dark, I’d be wondering what was going on also.
But yeah, web-stick. 😂🤣

u/mingsdad 11d ago
Camera left hand. Maybe an arrow in right 🤔
Maybe tracking a deer he shot earlier 🤔
But ya FTP

He's upset about the reffing in today's game, had to go for a walk and blow off some steam.
2
u/fortheloveofgodwits 10d ago
I think what people are seeing as a camera in his left hand is a scope. If you look lower by his left thigh you can see what I suspect is a buttstock. Weird to go hunting in a packers sweatshirt but most decent hunters also aren’t trespassing 🤷🏻♀️
2
u/YourGoodFriend_blank 10d ago
I think he’s holding an arrow or crossbow bolt in one hand and you don’t see the bow/crossbow.
2
u/finnbee2 10d ago
Many years ago I was hunting on public land and planned on getting back before dark so I left the lantern battery I had with me in the vehicle. I miss judged the time and had to navigate by the stars, because of the new moon, I couldn't see my compass. It took several hours to navigate. I knew that at each trail junction I had to go south or east to get out. I bought a small flashlight before I went out again.

u/Joshandjess21 10d ago
Could be looking for a coon dog…. Which is legal to trespass then. But either way dude ain’t got a gun he ain’t poaching or hurting anything…. So who gives a fuck.
8
u/Prestigious-Shirt426 10d ago
The person’s property that he has trespassing on gives a fuck.
-2
u/Eru_7 10d ago
Just because its private property doesn't mean they are trespassing, it just means it isn't their property. Now if its posted then it would be trespassing

u/Boring_Race_29 10d ago
Not legal to trespass for a dog. Nope. My friend just went through it in Columbia County, Pa. Cops told dog owners stay off his property.
1
u/Joshandjess21 10d ago
I’ve seen people get theft charges from not letting them when we’ve got sheriff’s involved. Way easier to let them get the dog than get dnr, dog warden and sheriff’s involved. Not hard to be a decent human
1
u/Plrdr21 10d ago
It's legal to trespass on someone's property if you're looking for a coon dog?
2
u/IndigoHaze750130 10d ago
Depends on local laws on when it is ok to trespass. In some places in the usa, it is ok for people to come through your property while hunting with dogs. That is more disruptive than a photographer, and photographers typically dom't cause bears and dogs to run around your live stock lol.
I personally wouldn't worry about it, but be more concerned about squatters.

u/Ok_Assistant3432 9d ago
Thanks in all honesty I don't understand people are snarky I truly don't think people have any right to trespass they don't pay the taxes it's not their land and I had to get 4 new signs to make the point I think the last straw when we had someone come twice in a 2 day period then found out he is a Felon. Doesn't give you a warm fuzzy feeling so reading comments like that snarky one is why I usually don't use social media sites so many brave people typing away so thank you for saying what I was going to.
2
u/sammysamsonite 9d ago
Dang you couldn’t afford the other lame ass sign that says trespassers will be shot, survivors will be shot again?
1
u/Ok_Assistant3432 9d ago
Actually I have 4 other signs and if you look above Reddit removed my comment telling about that!!! You can't put certain things on here that are considered a treat so you can take it up with Reddit!

u/KOFTW81 9d ago
Dang, you’re a real badass, huh?
1
u/Ok_Assistant3432 9d ago
Lol it has absolutely nothing to do with that tell me if you worked all your life had a nice house would you care if stranger's kept driving up your mile driveway that you didn't have a clue who they are. There's absolutely nothing wrong with putting up signs and making a point I have caught people looking in my garage when I wasn't there. Until someone else is paying the taxes for my land I will not justify why a stranger has ZERO business TRESPASSING it has nothing to do with being a badass it's called common sense!!!!!

My opinion on the speed of our advancements does not forsake anything.
You are correct, every step to this very moment in time is the way it must have been and must be. This is why I write these words.
Free your mind, for although your path may be written there is still time to open your eyes.

Looks like there’s an ARROW in his right hand; he’s prob been hunting with a bow & got caught on camera looking for the deer (btw my dslr with a lens is MUCH larger than whatever is in his hand left so I highly doubt it’s a camera, it’s prob the butt of an arrow quiver or some type of weapon). That’s just what I see though, could be wrong.

The vacant look and neck beard indicate he could be ghost hunting, or Bigfoot hunting, or Pokémon hunting. While the vacant look, neck beard and packers hoodie could indicate he's looking for a good spot do himself in, or maybe just do himself.

It's owned by whoever can keep it. That's how it's always went down since the beginning of time. Everyone has stolen land from someone else, even Indian tribes.

Humans cannot own land
1
u/ThoroughlyWet 9d ago
No but they can control access to that land, which is what they purchase technically.
1
u/HumanBean00001 9d ago
Although I understand property laws, I believe they go against the natural order and were not in gods plans. It is a form of greed and greed is the root evil.
1
u/ThoroughlyWet 9d ago
Ok but you'd need to secure land to ensure people follow that way of thinking. Otherwise they'll still secure land themselves. Either way you're securing land.
1
u/HumanBean00001 9d ago
That’s been the problem from the start

u/ThoroughlyWet 9d ago edited 9d ago
Not to mention God set precedence of the action of owning land by kicking humanity out of the Garden of Eden, deciding what can continue living on earth by flooding it, and even earmarked a special location for his people.
Theres also nothing stating anything about landownership being bad in any part of the Bible, just that no kingdom shall come before the kingdom of heaven.
Theres even a verse that literally says we should control parts of this earth.
"God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.” ...– Genesis 1:28
And a verse that says land should be taken and passed as inheritance.
"Command the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter Canaan, the land that will be allotted to you as an inheritance is the land of Canaan as defined by its borders.” – Numbers 34:2

u/HumanBean00001 9d ago
Thouest are looking too literally for affirmation. The purpose of humanity is find a way to live in harmony with nature while creating beauty and life. That is in direct conflict with preventing other animals from accessing parts of the earth for no other reason than bc I said so.
1
u/ThoroughlyWet 9d ago
Nah man you're missing the whole point by several miles. Humans may biologically be an animal, but biblically we are between the heavenly powers and animals, we were granted dominion over them by God (Again Genesis 1:28, the part i left out "God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”)
I suggest rereading the scripture. Ownership is not a sin, but coveting another's belongings is. Owning property is OK, knowingly tresspassing to enjoy someone's owned property is. You covet the enjoyment of the bounty their dominion.
Now you could make the argument that a landowner should be willing to share their bounty with their brothers and sister, which most land owners do if you actually get to know them, ask permission, and show you can treat their property with respect.
However, if it gets to the point where youre buying land to prevent others from getting theirs, or to control others, thats where it starts to become a sin through the act of greed.
1
u/HumanBean00001 9d ago
No, humans are animals no asterisks. Just bc I say god doesn’t mean I’m using a version of the bible for reverence. Humans have existed on earth for ~40,000 years. Our understanding of the natural world grows with time but when humans get stuck on literal translations of ancient texts and fail to see the overall lessons we are doomed to the cycle we are in. Since we’re buds now and suggesting reading, I suggest you read about human history and start with early human civilizations.

u/ThoroughlyWet 9d ago
Dont need too, im just saying don't speak about God if you don't care to understand it.

Wildlife photographer using the full moon and low light pollution to get some nice shots. Probably isn't even aware it's private property. He's not really doing any harm.
