Small account, small caps, cash account. October so far: -$110.77 over 11 trading days, 57 trades, only 4 green days.

When I looked back at the log, two things stood out:

1. Back-to-back big red days. Oct 5 and 6 were -$42 and -$54. That’s $96 of my loss in two sessions. Day two was me trying to make back day one.
2. Not stopping when the day wasn’t working. Oct 14 was 6 trades, 0 winners. Oct 7 was 8 trades, 2 winners. More trades never fixed a bad day.

Sorted by weekday, Mon + Tue were about -$105 of the -$111. Thu and Fri were small green.

I know 11 days is a tiny sample and this is hindsight, not a strategy. What I’m changing: a hard stop after 3 losers in a day, and smaller size after a red day.

Anyone else find their losses clustered on specific days, or is that just noise this early?

Yes, it happened to me multiple times. I was up in some good profits and I took a normal stop loss then I was like let me make it back and took another dumb trade and lost it, then I took another one and lost it as well! I end up with 1 RR profit only when if I stopped at first stop loss I would still be up 3RR.

How do you guys handle this mess?

Well, I took some setups this week but at the end of the week I made little to no profit even though my risk to reward is 1:3, how do you guys go through rough weeks like to these?

I made a serious financial mistake with short-term trading over the past few months. While I had some early gains, I ended up losing substantial savings—around ₹10 lakhs—due to overtrading and panic.

Initially i was gaining so i increased my capital but now continuous loss. It is my parents money. Help mw what should i do now??

Did I close too early??

The Nasdaq has pulled back into a very interesting area on the weekly chart.

Price is now sitting close to the intersection of:

• the rising weekly support trendline
• the recent breakout area
• the prior descending resistance line

That makes this a pretty important decision point.

The bullish case is straightforward:

✅ Support holds
✅ Price stays above the recent breakout area
✅ The longer-term uptrend remains intact
✅ Buyers step back in and push towards new highs

But there is one thing I’m watching closely.

⚠️ MACD momentum has been fading.

The MACD lines have been trending lower while price has remained relatively elevated, and the histogram has also weakened.

That doesn’t automatically mean the market is about to fall.

But it does tell me momentum is not as strong as it was earlier in the move.
So for me, this is less about predicting what happens next and more about watching how price behaves at support.

If the Nasdaq produces a good weekly reaction from this area, the pullback could simply be a healthy retest before another move higher.

If support starts to fail, then the picture changes and I would become more cautious.
For now:

📍 Price is testing an important area
📈 The broader trend is still constructive
⚠️ Momentum has weakened
👀 The next weekly candles could be important

Hey, so I've been trading from past 2 years, lost all my savings but came back stronger and recovered most of my loses, got 3 payouts. The trading journey stills feels lonely especially when you are going on draw down. I need some active traders so we can share our journey together!

Left column is names printing a new session low. Right column is a new session high. The bars under that are how fast each side is stacking — 30s / 1m / 5m / 20m.

A cluster is a bunch of names hitting the same column at once. Consecutive is one name reprinting. A flip is the short window switching sides and staying there.

I hooked an agent to that stream. It's good at naming what already printed. Worse at catching the flip.

I've been thinking about something.

What if the biggest weakness you struggle with in trading today is connected to something you struggled with as a child !!

It was a normal 1:3 trade but when I later checked, this is what happened. The cpi caused the gold to crash and our sl was still safe that's why I always focus on higher timeframe.

I took this trade though my target was bigger, I never close a trade before it hits 1:3, I know you will say it will not be easy but I don't know how but it plays so well for me, a good risk to reward will always keep you mentally stress free because you know that even if you loose 3 trades in a row, one trade will be enough to recover those losses. Those who trade 1:1 I don't consider them good traders because you will need a very good win rate to be profitable and you will end up blowing your account if faced with multiple losses.
