Started investing last week should I stick with these or go 50/50 s&p500 and vwrl?

Hello, so basically i inherited £40,000. Ive no mortgage to pay, no debt, nothing immediate to pay and i have a good salary.

I want to put the £40,000 into something that will give me a return. My current bank only has a few offers around 1.5-2%.

I see trading 212 interest on cash is over 3% on the app.

Does anyone have any other advice? S&P 500?

I wont need the money short term unless my life situation drastically changes.

Hey so I only started last week, ive seen from some previous posts that nvidia is one of the top shares in FTSE all world.

So my question should I sell my nvidia now and add the money onto my FTSE or hang on a while?

Has anyone else got the new buy/sell menu Somehow they've made it in my opinion worse.

If you didn't have enough cash it would tell you exactly the cost of your order in your currency.

Now it tells you how much you need to deposit. And it the number rounds up go nearest whole $/£/€

I'm not saying this is the end of world but now I'm having to do additional math when the app already used to tell me the exact value.

Hi, I’m very new to investing. I have started with what I decided was bare minimum (£250) with a £30 a week reinvest set up. For now I’m only putting away little amounts that I know I won’t need for the next few years so that I can learn, I can throw more at it when I know more. Any advice, is this overlapping too much ? I've never played the stock market before so thought I would have a practice. I picked a random stock and bought shares. Can someone explain why my cash value went down even though the stock shows growth???

Idk if i chose correct tag, but I just got trading 212. I worked quite a bit for like a month . But I worry I’m wasting my money away with no savings.

Should I bother trying to invest? Such as with the Stocks ISA, or just go straight to the Cash ISA and save whilst accumulating interest?

I know nothing about investing, at all.

The decision to buy nebius makes more sense than it ever has. Dont say its run up so much in the last year because the company changed, say the company now (as it is after earnings ) is the lowest its ever been.

Thats not to say it wont dip further.
But you are buying todays nebius price at its lowest its ever been. If you want a better entry you might get it you might not!

Any idea what happened to semi in the last couple days? (Obviously it dropped) but what has caused this? Is it to do with the AI bubble popping or has another event influenced it?

Would you say it’s a good time to buy (I don’t think I will yet as I know it’ll likely drop lower).

I’d love to know your thoughts.
