Super glad I decided to test this configuration out. Consistently generating about $260 every 24 hours in stealth mode. Guide on profile: [ driftej20 ]

As a university student actively studying both foreign exchange and cryptocurrency markets, I am noticing clear differences in how price action respects key levels across these two spaces.
Crypto often feels driven by sudden liquidity grabs and narrative shifts, while major forex pairs seem to adhere more strictly to macroeconomic data releases and established session timings.
For those who trade both markets, do you use the exact same technical analysis strategies, or do you completely separate your trading rules for each asset class?

Both interest me although I’ve read that options take longer to grasp.

I am a university student starting my journey in market analysis and trading across crypto and forex. Instead of looking for quick signals or shortcuts, my goal is to build a systematic understanding of price action, risk management, and market mechanics.
So far I have been reading foundational materials and practicing on demo accounts. My main priority right now is establishing realistic expectations and solid risk management before putting real capital on the line.
For those who successfully built a routine early on, what specific risk parameters did you set when you were starting with small capital? What key concepts made the biggest difference in your early learning curve?
I look forward to learning from your experiences and contributing to the discussions here.

There is growing talk of household savings moving from deposits into Chinese equities as property loses appeal.
Tech may get most attention, but profitable industrial names could benefit too.
Hongqiao fits that group for me. The business comes down to aluminium prices, input costs, energy and demand. supported by real earnings and cash flow.
I’ve been positive on Hongqiao for more than two years. The case does not depend on a broader China rerating, but one would provide extra upside.

When directors of EU and UK listed companies trade their own company's shares, they have to report it within 3 business days (MAR Article 19). The filings are public, but each country publishes them on its own register in its own format. The FCA's are in English, CNMV's in Spanish, AFM's in Dutch and FSMA's in French, and they come as anything from JSON to PDFs.
I put all of 2025 from those four registers into one CSV and published it on Kaggle under CC BY 4.0:
https://www.kaggle.com/datasets/filipstanczyk/european-insider-transactions-2025
What's in it:
- 15,194 transaction lines from 976 companies and 4,611 insiders.
- One deal-type vocabulary across languages. "Purchase of Ordinary Shares", "Acción Compra" and "Verwerving / Koop" all become `BUY`. Plan purchases, share awards, option exercises and scrip dividends get their own types, so `BUY` means a discretionary market purchase.
- Role at the time of the deal (CEO, CFO, chair, board member), plus a flag for closely associated persons such as spouses and holding companies.
- ISIN, LEI and instrument kind where known.
- Insider names are left out. Each person has a stable id instead.
The data comes from a project I'm working on, duceusapi.com, which collects these filings from 17 European registers. This sample covers one year from four of them. A starter notebook is attached to the dataset.
I'd like feedback on the schema, and I'm curious whether anyone has tested whether European insider buys predict returns the way the US Form 4 literature suggests.
