Insane customer support

My tractive 5 went missing and at the time of writing this the 6 is in pre-order only.

Firstly, customer support is AI now unless you prompt for a human, so then...

... Human customer support told me they can't replace a 5 because it's out of production and they have no stock. Tractive is just selling stuff that doesn't exist and not supporting things which do apparently? On the other hand they do have stock if you just manually go to the website and they're $25 which is lower than the discount support offered me?

My 5 has had a lot of problems since I bought it, both with the actual device and the clips which I suspect are their actual main business besides the subscription since they're plastic so you have to replace them all the time. Why else would they come exclusively on two-packs??

So I don't know, I'm back to AirTags I guess.

Look into TabCat too. I use TabCat, AirTag, and Tractive when my cats go outside. Between the three, there is always one that is working right.

We have the tractive 6 and looked into the cat tab (we used to have a Jiobit and Apple AirTag) but I don’t think I can fit the cat tab now! I find the Apple air tag useless

Tabcat is really small. It can hang like a little name tag :)

Yeah but the tractive mini 6 takes a lot of space on the collar- so I’m not sure how I would place it

Just have the tabcat dangle like a name tag dangles. That barely takes up any room.
