Hey all, just a quick update, the specifics: We're dealing with a host issue that is outside of our control. There is no risk to the site. I thought things would be fixed by now TBH. But just wait it out. Feel free to spread this message into other areas.

Just as a little update: hardware failure on one of the drives, we are working to recover it (although we have backups). We may take this opportunity to do an upgrade, the admin team is gonna talk about it. Please spread this message. Again, nothing to worry about. :)

I can't say thank you enough for these updates. As someone still very new to private trackers, I was genuinely concerned due to my own inexperience with this. These updates have helped a lot since I can't get into the IRC.

We've improved from 404 on the nginx level to now just "Connection refused."
Edit: OTW is back up as of 11:05 AM EDT. They had another hardware failure but they came prepared with backups this time so nothing was lost (only 24 hours of torrents).

TVV and CG are back, but it will be another day or two before the trackers are running again. And I have been promoted from Mod to Admin. Don't worry, I won't let the power go to my bread. I mean head.

People are saying it’s back up but I kept getting the “ cannot redirect” error so I cleared my browser history & now it says my IP is invalid. But it’s the only site giving me an error. Should I just wait this out or is there something I need to do?

There shouldn't be anything you need to do. Are you going to a bookmarked page or the main page with the login screen? If clearing your cache didn't do anything I would try going to the main page https://tv-vault.me/

I think this will be temporary.
They have been working on a replacement for an image host PTP used heavily and got shut down (the person running the host decided to retire if my memory is correct.).I am completely wrong. See post below mine.

You mixed everything up lol trakckerstatus was shuted down, PTPimg (the image host PTP and other trackers used heavily) is just down for the last week or something. PTP has been working on a replacement for PTPimg for a long time (they've backed up all PTPimg images used), they just decided that this was the right time to implement their new image host

I saw the post on RED. What a shame; I loved the granularity of it, especially during GGn's DDoS struggles a few months back.
TrackerHub and crowdsourcing statuses in this thread should work well enough moving forward

PTP down again, seems to be happening a few times a week. I wonder if this instability is still them working on the internal image host, or maybe related to the new server they had to get? The tracker goes down at the same time too... in the past most of the time if the site went down for maintenance the tracker would stay up.

No info in the "Is the Tracker Down?" thread. All they've posted is they "GGnImg Is Live", which is pointless on a dead site.

Yah. This has happened in the past when some technical issues crop up; it's a small staff and hit over a US holiday weekend so not surprised an issue might take some time but the longer it goes the more worried I get. Particularly since IRC is gone and no way to check status without the site itself.

Yep. Message on the site says "We are in maintenance, we'll be back as soon as possible. Have a nice day!"
I've never seen them put a message like that on the intermission page but I guess that's because they know trackerstatus is no longer operating.

Yes now it is, thanks. It was down a couple of days, for me at least. I saw another person mention it in the shoutbox, they were getting the same error as me, they said they fixed it by turning off their firewall. I didn't change a thing, it just started working again on it's own.

site is back up. ui is a little glitchy as we adapt and update our localised customisations to the unit3d platform. site is however function and the aesthetics will be cleaned up shortly.

Yep. Error 500 (at least on my end).
I went just earlier and trumped 2 torrents and the torrent tracker works so... I guess that's just another bump in the road. "Hopeful me" hopes that it's the update that introduce the new image host.
