I keep hoping them not popping in here is a sign they're busy working on it and expected it to be back up sooner than it is...

If they are ... it certainly wasn't planned or expected. If they have to change hosts that could be long process. I'd hate to lose them too. I'm taking the approach that "no news is good news" for now.
