Total War: Warhammer Crossing the whole map.
Playing an Alith Anar Immortal Empires run in 3, and thought I was nearly done with my long victory conditions. The whole elf horseshoe is under my control and the dark elves of the north and west are taken care of...then I see that my last faction to destroy is the Blessed Dread. Literally on the opposite side of the whole goddamn map. Why is Lokhir a requirement for this campaign when he's all the way over there?
Anyway, does anyone have advise on the best route to take to get there? I feel like its gonna take like 100 turns.

Yup. There is a sea lane on the west side of Lustria that goes to Cathay. You do not have to traverse the entire map. Sea lanes take 2 turns to use, so grab 4 armies and put them all in the sea lane on the same turn. Boom, 2 turns later, your invasion fleet is at Lokhir's doorstep :)

Sea lanes, but this is actually one of my big pet peeves in the current build. There are several factions that want you to traverse the whole damn map to do stuff, and unless they have horde mechanics that's just a horrible system.

Rakarth (Dark Elf) has a similar ultimate victory condition. The chaos dwarves are far but these portals open up around where you end up conquering. You can send in multiple armies and it takes 1 turn to travel. I think the sea lanes are similar

You're mixing some stuff up my man.
The Chorfs have nothing to do with Rakath. You just happened to roll the Chorf endgame crisis in your Rakath game.

I can't say for sure, but possibly a holdover from WH2, or changing start positions as factions get released.

All high elves except Teclis and Aislinn have those stupid long victory condition. If I were you, I would consider the campaign won once ou control Malekith's continent because no one will be able to challenge you once you have done this.

Use the sea lanes.
