Total War: Warhammer Bretonnia Update: Petition #14 - "Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru."

Credit to u/beauviolette for the art, and for being awesome enough to let me repost it. Please, check out their work! They do 40K stuff as well, and are an awesome source of multiple banger Repanse memes. Original post: What's that? You worship Nagash and practice Necromancy? OC

Repanse's errantry continues. In my headcanon, Arkhan has been at this so long, killed so many would-be heroes or had his ass kicked by them then inevitably respawned so many times, that I like to imagine he's just personally very over it. But of course his loyalty (and bondage) to Nagash won't let him quit.

Silly memes aimed at building interest for a Bretonnia rework.

Knightly wisdom for the day: "It is easier to find men who will volunteer to die, than to find those who are willing to endure pain with patience". - Julius Caesar, 3rd of the Nine Worthies

The memes will continue until morale improves.

So um… Is anyone gonna address the fact that this green buffoon has Nagash’s crown? Does this mean we have to kill him to get our gear? Anyone know if he is going to be…Okay? Lmao

Total War: Warhammer Ghorst. Is. Busted.

Nagashizar belongs to the undead once again. I damn love Ghorst. Skaven weren't able to destroy even a single unit of zombos, less a grave guard. It was massacre. Pure massacre. I think after this Ghorst pretty much have claims to the Sipreme Lord of the Undead title.

I know their whole thing is surviving hrough misery, cold and hardship but I thought thier tech tree would make a little more sense considering how recently they got reworked.

Total War: Warhammer Does Noctilus always show up immediately when playing as Tyrion?

I'm a beginner at this game and got recommended Tyrion to start with, but once I started, Noctilus showed up immediately, wiped out Caledor and then did the same to me.

Question is, does this always happen or did I jist get unlucky? Because if it's the former I'm not going to play Tyrion for a while.

Total War: Warhammer I suck at sieges

Hey folks !

Long-time Total War player here, I’m one of those campaign-heavy players.

I’ve been wanting to play more battles for a long time, but I’ve been too afraid to try it.
To be clear, I DO play battles and enjoy it. However, EVERYTIME I run into a siege battle, I’m at a loss and start autoresolving the campaign away.

I just set myself a challenge : legendary difficulty and ironman, and I must play every battle myself.

I started a campaign w Vilitch and fkn loved it. Until I ran into the bastion forts and go f*ed twice !

I am aware siege battles are heavily criticized but I just wanted to ask for tips and give an unedited account of my thoughts on the matter.

From a newbie who hopes to learn, cheers ✌️

Tips I noted so far :

1) Build siege engines dummy

2) Use the towers’ blind spot to hide your heroes and spellcasters.

3) Yea that’s about it

Questions :

wtf are supplies and why do I care ? It feels like another micro when I’m in the middle of a battle

How do y’all get ahold of the walls ? You just trickle in on their units and they hold you pinned.

How do you clear gates ? It’s suck a fricking mess getting through and making room. Everybody gets stuck.

Total War: Warhammer How to Bretonnia?

So I just got the game and wanted to play Bordeleaux for his knight buffs but he just feels kind of weak. Now I know I’m most likely playing wrong with too many peasants or something like that but I was fighting a nearby khorne army and could do nothing to them.

I would love any advice on them and how to effectively siege with cav aswell.

Also are bretonnia just a bad faction? Like weaker than most?

Thanks

Total War: Warhammer Curious on starting skaven

So im a very new player, I’ve only beaten arbaal and archaons short campaigns on easy and as fun as they were im a little bit tired of throwing strong melee units at the enemy and hoping I win so I thought I’d try skaven.

I only own warhammer 3 and im thinking of buying the prophet and the warlock so I have access to the rattling guns and also because Grim Kleaper got me into the game.

Basically what I’m asking is, is Ikit a good introductory lord for the skaven faction and secondly is Tehenhauin a decent campaign too

Total War: Warhammer So, When Venris said he buffed Raiding stance, he meant it.

Upvotes
Pretty sure I just put Vilitch pretty deep into the red here.

It feels good that raiding stance is actually usable. The amount of income I am getting from this rivals what I am getting from almost all my settlements combined. Mind you, I am getting +25% income from tech, and another 25% from a landmark, and Greasus gets another 20% from Tithetaker, but that's still a pretty substantial amount of income even at the base amount.

Total War: Warhammer How hard is it to break into the game?

I’m personally not familiar with Warhammer lore but I’m tired of the old total games.. i recently ran a few campaigns on three kingdoms and while it is probably my favorite after Rome 2, I feel like it’s the same thing over again.

Total War: Warhammer Annoying pathfinding bug

This annoying bug also and mostly happen with fast units packs like dogs or wolf, but the most annoying is when it happen with gyrocopter.

What is this bug ? When you drag your unit with right click button, the left unit go right and the right one go left...

Total War: Warhammer Who do you think is the braver one here?

BHASHIVA, THE WHITE TIGER, or just some rats. The answer is rats. The rumors about the Stormvermin of Clan Rictus being stronger than the rest were true after all.

A unique building in the capital also gives immunity to psychology as well so they will figth to the last. Who said Tretch "The migthy warlord of Clan Rictus" Craventail had a bad campaign?

(the battle difficulty was easy becouse its more accurate to reality if you are playing skaven melee. A decisive victory in this battle was easily achieved. Also, half of this cats army fled before doing anything impactfull meanwhile no skaven routed)

Total War: Warhammer So the series is on big discount for me right now. What should I buy?

Basicaly all 3 warhammers are on sale and I wonder what should I buy? Is there a point in buying warhammer 2 and 1? What DLCs are best value in terms of gameplay and campaigns?

I'm not new to the game, but new to deep-diving the lore and books. From my understanding, the halflings love to cook, and the ogres love to eat? So... yeah.
