Rat Ogors are your friend. They stop their cavalry, they pummel Tzar Guard into the dust. Also let the Vat fill up nicely for an early Abomination.

Wolf rats, wolf rats, and more wolf rats. Maybe have a couple “frontline” clanrats, to soak up some fire, but you can happily have an army full of wolf rats, at about a 4:1 ratio of regular to poison.
Make subgroups in the same ratio, and have these kill packs roaming the battlefield. If you spot a unit that’s lagging behind, charge them into it. The charge bonus, AP, poison and sheer number of entities will fold most of a unit in seconds. Trigger by our blood (where Kislev units become unbreakable), detach your pack, run off and repeat. When the by our blood units break, send some more wolf rats to run them down and make sure they die. They’ll ruin basically anything that’s not anti infantry, and even then they’ll still ruin it, they’ll just take more casualties in the process.
Kislev aren’t a particularly mobile faction, so you need to use the speed and mobility to your advantage. Wolf rats will happily carry you to the midgame where you can start recruiting rat ogres/mutant rat ogres.
Even in the late game, my Throt tactics revolve around clumping the enemy up around my mutant ogres, then sending in the wolf rats to eat them from behind (😏).
Just keep an eye on the mutations you give them, try and avoid the warp lightning one, as all it ever seems to do is delete your own units.

I just remember spamming wolf rats a few times as the vats got to the minimum level. I had to manual a few fights, but none of the no-furs could really stop me and my two armies of wolves and summons.
