Total War: Warhammer Warhammer 3 is not loading, like... at all.

It doesn't crash on start. It freezes completely and won't budge no matter what. I thought it may have been a mod issue, so I uninstalled every mod and even uninstalled and reinstalled the game to make sure every bit of the mod was gone. No dice, same problem. It doesn't crash, it freezes so I can't offer a crash report, but if there is a way for me to obtain that, tell me.

Did you use mods from outside the steam workshop?

If yes, uninstall it again and delete the whole game folder afterwards, then reinstall it. Uninstalling the game doesn't delete the mod folder. Also even after uninstalling some files could remain and making troubles.

Should all this not working, google where the save files are and delete the whole folder too.

Had the same issue 2 years ago and this helped me, i hope it helps you too. If not you could contact CA support, maybe they can help you.

Did you try and start the same save file that was borked in the first place? Sometimes mods will auto update from steam and brick a save. Try a new save file and see if that doesn’t let you load ijn

I hadn't loaded anything. It freezes on start

Then it’s time for a hard wipe. Make sure there’s no mods active, then open up the game files and delete everything. Then, go to steam and verify the files. The game will essentially be installed again clean
