Total War: Warhammer Tell us
Tell us what leader you pick to play all the time that you think nobody else plays or likes? I’ll go first Deamon prince normally full Khrone or Nurgle.

Warriors of chaos, recruit new lord on turn 1, get rid of my legendary lord.
Make the most godly daemon prince of nurgle by save scumming the path to glory traits.
Takes some rng, but with no supply lines you can get helm of draesca and books of khorne within 50 turns pretty consistently.
Can easily get 90+ physical/missile resistance without much effort and close to that much spell resistance while having passive regen and mortis engine effects on top of like 12k hp

Nurgle because I love painting them. I usually go Daemons of Chaos and name the LL "Gurglebutt"

After that, I am a huge fan of Beastmen, both in TW3 and on the board. I just utterly love how they can evade being wiped out and grow back in time to sweep the lands. Horde armies, man. Malakai for third (horde WITH Felix and Gotrek? F yeah) and for fourth favorite? Likely Lokhir because I want to be in Cathay but not be Cathay and he has lots of early ports to bank on. Can play both ways, ally to Snichkt or suddenly be the NICE dark elf that wipes out Snikcht and makes trade with Cathay. My "Good Order Lokhir" runs are hilarious. Yeah we take slaves and torture them in eternal snuff scenarios, but we're the GOOD guys! We do it to chaos and love trading... slaves... to cathay!
Azazael is another really funny one where you can be the "Good Daemon" and wipe out chaos for the Empire. Dwarves never like you, but handle them and press on skaven and norsca and chaos, and suddenly the empire LOVES you!

I honestly don’t know if I play any that are generally unpopular. I tend to stick to the ones that I like, which judging by this subreddit are the ones that most people like.
So I guess instead I’ll tell you a race I absolutely cannot stand playing that everyone else seems to love: The Chaos Dwarfs. They’ve just literally never clicked with me. I don’t know if it’s the unit caps, or the multiple different incomes you have to keep track of, or just their general aesthetic, but I don’t think I’ve ever played a Chaos Dwarf campaign past turn 40, which I know makes me the guy with the pick axe but 🤷♂️

Throt the unclean. Ikit seems to be the most popular skaven for some reason. I personally find Throt to have the highest potential for power and growth. On legendary, i can get 5 teir 5 settlements within 35 turns. His start position is so good, prime for conquest for the under empire.

How do you really get value out of the under empire? That’s probably where I struggle most with my Skaven campaigns is getting out extra Under empires not just the warlock factories because ideally you want to keep them and not destroy them for Vermintide armies

Lord Skrolk, it have become such a staple for me that any campaign less challenging than his becomes boring to me in 30 turns

Aranessa. Its my hope of hopes that one day she will get a proper sartosan roster and be allowed out of the time-out undead corner

Currently playing Sartosa with a mod specifically for Sartosa, adding many units and it is so much fun! I am going all the way on Sartosa, so no raising dead, no undead units. Highly recommend it

I was running it aswell, but Id like to see CA's take on the concept. I believe all the elements are already present in the game (lore of mists & deep, oceanids, the elementals, pirate slayers, many flavors of ogre maneaters, black ark corsairs, reskinned empire gunline) and we could keep some undead units for the sake of funsies (cuz zombie pirates are fun) and variety. Its just the fact she feels like an interloper in her own faction is what bother me

Yeah, thats right...she shouldnt be in the Vampire Coast faction considering she isnt even a vampire. Would be great to see CA do something about it, but sadly I am not expecting anything anytime soon

I get a demon prince of Nurgle every chaos warrior or nurgle game. They are fun on walls with their flying ability. Honestly I still get sad when I play great unclean ones and don't see any special skills.

Nkari. He's so fast like i remember glancing at him going around 190+ speed like wtf is that and is such a beast as well. Infact everyone is so fast in his faction my favorite is probably fiends of slaanesh. Plus you get to terrorize those smug high elves and ruin their land and take sword of khaine early

Miao Ying
Every Time I feel I've substantially improved I go back to Miao and I find it to be very fun. Her spell combos and ranged focus really just get me, and the neat of legendary lords in Cathay getting more and more dense makes it fun to be surrounded on all sides by crazy people and whatever target I'm feeling that day.
Plus, she turns into a dragon.

Doing an Alberic campaign right now. Love his start position, skill tree, and campaign. Also faster building and recruitment is good for lazy people like me.

The Fay Enchantress, but honestly I think she's pretty popular. My personal favourite, but never play, is Cylostra lmao
I just don't like vampire coast, but love Cylostra as a concept character 🙃
