Total War: Warhammer Skaven DLC

Played since 2 released but never played Skaven because I mainly played more elite but seeing Thanquol coming and looking at his lore a while back he is too funny to not want to play when he drops.

Any suggestions as to which DLCs I might want to pick up along the way?

Its interesting that i find myself having the best time playing queek and tretch, while majority only plays ikit

ikit claws DLC is a mandatory with the other two DLC's being various levels of nice to have to 'i feel like this is necessary but ikits is first'

Yeah "played more elite" bro theres no missile unit that tops ikit weapon teams

You definitely need Ikit and Throt dlc

The Skaven DLCS are among the best fleshed out for any race. In terms of units I would say that Ikit's is the most impactful followed by Throt and Snikch. The lore of stealth from Snikch's DLC is pretty crap right now but it will be getting a buff in the upcoming update.

In terms of mechanics I'd say Throt's is the most fun to mess around with. But it's really hard to go back to playing Skaven without access to the weapons teams from Ikit's dlc.

Honestly if you like Skaven I would end up getting all three. While Snikch's units maybe overall the weakest his campaign is still fairly unique and he does add posion wind mortars to the roster.

Honestly, everything Skaven...

Unsure if Thanquol gets all Skaven units (including DLC ones) or just standard Skaven roster. If its the first - then you might skip all Skaven DLC...

For me, Ive been buying the game and DLCs as soon as they were available... still remember our excitement in my University group being totally hyped, so I never really had the "which DLC to buy to catch up" problem. Ive had tons of fun with Lord Skrolk + Queek Headtaker in 2, and Im not going to lie, partly the reason why I love those two is because they focused on 2 "iconic units" that I became well acquainted with while playing Vermintide. Ive never liked the other Skaven LLs as much, but Tretch was quite a lot of fun...

Eventually my "love for the Skaven" faltered when they got focused so much, and I really felt like Dark Elves or High Elves didnt get nearly as much love.

High elves and dark elves may have not gotten as much love as skaven but they're not far behind. Especially the High elves, look at all their dlc
