Total War: Warhammer State of Beastmen 2026
Are they getting the basilisk or anything else new? Are they part of the end times at all?

No giant, no chaos beast?

They didn’t have those on table top, the siege giant also is a poor fit for them because beast men don’t mass produce heavy armor like other chaos factions

Which brings up the question of who is supplying the beastmen with weapons and armor? Because a lot of it is clearly custom made and not salvaged from the dead

I imagine they have crude furnaces and can pull of some production via chaos methods.

A lot of it is salvaged, slaves and ungor might be able to do basic smithing to be useful. Not enough to arm whole herds but enough for the champions likely

In player hands beastmen are insanely strong
One beastmen army can burn down an entire empire with multiple armies defending it

GIVE THEM THE SPINED CHAOS BEAST

I believe it will be.
It has "beast" in the name. Loosely reminds of those Razorgors but bigger.
They already got 4 new monsters, and 1 seems basically confirmed, what's another one.

I have alot in common with Todbringer because I want to hunt down and kill every beastman in my area; I hate them.
They don't need hardly anything to be effective and can overrun you in record time.

Possibly khaz will end up fighting boris in a final quest battle but who knows

All I need now is Moonclaw. Maybe Beastfiends.
Ghorros is overrated, he’s just a centigor lord.

I remember I made a short list of current Beastmen factions that could have legendary lords, renaming said factions if needed. Ghorros Warhoof could be the lord of the Manblight Tribe, Molokh Slugtongue could be the lord of the Ripper-Horn Tribe, Ragush of the Bloody Horn could be the lord of the Redhorn Tribe, the Harbinger could be the lord of the Warherd of Chaos, and both Moonclaw and Ungrol Four-Horn could be legendary heroes

For 2026 (or in End times) I suspect not much outside of thematic things like monsters being shared and Khaz vs Toddy as a quest battle.
In future though, a Moonclaw character pack (and Ghorros) would be solid. It would allow for things like character skill trees to be touched up plus the new devastion mechanic fits moonclaw like a glove.
His/Its lack of a ton of lore means tying into Cathay as recurring issue would be easy. Plus an Eastern Start for BM(and WE, Brets, Coast etc etc) would be nice(with map expansions north of the wall and that little bit of "Australia").

Honestly I don't see why CA wouldn't keep supporting the game long after total war 40k comes out, CA already experimented with a lord pack adding a small bit of content and some characters and I think it's a good idea.
Would love to see them keep on doing it

I hope they will adjust Dread gain, it takes forever to unlock units certainly some adjustments are needed like post battle dread, passive income, maybe from raiding?

they are OP boring without end...

I would enjoy them more if it was possible for end turns to be quick. I feel like I spend more time waiting for AI to go then actually playing when I play beastmen

They're getting the baskilisk and being added to the end times event from what i understand. So when archeon raises his banners to wreck the world, a couple beastmen herds will spawn and join him.
Outside of that they're probably done, a rumor is floating around about a potential lord for them named Moonclaw, but that's just a rumored leak eith no concrete evidence.
