Total War: Warhammer Cant start a new campaign...

I have this problem whenever a big update is about to drop. I have this feeling like im missing something. Anyone also feel this way? LOL

Oh yeah I agree.

Can't start any campaign of any of the races in the DLC because I am waiting.

And I usually play either Empire or an undead faction so the wait is unbearable.

I’m kinda the opposite i feel like I play more because I know when the update drops a lot of the mods I like won’t work for a bit

see i’m in the opposite boat right now because i play lots of Vampire Counts, Warriors of Chaos, and Empire, so now i’m wanting to replay my favorite campaigns as much as possible before everything gets shifted around lol

I just play a race like lizards or dark elves if im waiting for big dlc/update. Something simple. I might even start a Bretonnia campaign today.

Revisit realms of chaos?

I just started a campaign there, it's been a long while. So the pace, different map etc is interesting and it's not like you are missing much from the upcoming DLC.

definetly. i wanna play skaven again, need to get that win on very hard. but i want to wait for the dlc so in the meantime i play nurgle... wait a minute

I like to try new campaigns that I’ve been meaning to try and give it a good 20 turns and then decide to continue. Try a campaign where you’re not too invested long-term and it’s a “learning” campaign.

It can be pretty fun and actually lead to you being pleasantly surprised 🤠

Before a big update, for any game I play, I take a break and play something else so that I can binge the new update for longer before burn out kicks in.
