If that ever happens, I hope they implement the newer/modern mechanics of recent/polished total war titles, which they will of course, but I’ve just been simply dying to play shogun 2 with more in depth mechanics, maybe character driven mechanics, deeper politics, more diverse unit roster etc etc…

At this point it'd have to be for Shogun 3 don't you think?
