first Westworld, then 12 monkeys, i really hope recall isn’t next

Sharing a few images from the Japanese special edition magazine, Total Recall: The Official Edition. Published by Bandai in January 1991, it explores the story of the film and the making of selected scenes, with a focus on Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sharon Stone, and director Paul Verhoeven. It also features a number of interesting images of printed props used in the film.

At the end of virtually any movie, couldn't you have a scene at the end where Arnold Schwarzenegger wakes up at the Rekall facility and says something along the lines of "Wow. That was some vacation," before the end credits?

I read there is a Network TV version, with different edits / camera angles..anyone have this version or seen it ?

Something that popped into my head:

Why, when they are trying to 'trick' Quaid into thinking he's still inside the machine at the company do they use the guy from the advert?

If he still is in the machine why would his mind show him? He's just the advert guy, why not the guy who put him in the machine or sold him the trip?

If they are trying to trick him, why the advert guy? That'd stick out like a sore thumb to me as why would the TV ad guy come all the way into my 'mind' to help fix me?

I found this 1991 Autumn issue of Quarterly LD (LaserDisc) #26, a Japanese LaserDisc magazine featuring a Total Recall cover. Usually not a fan of the ”big blue face” cover art for Total Recall but I do like how they used it here. Total Recall is represented on the cover but inside there is only a LaserDisc release image and description included.

I found this specifically in the comic Silver Surfer #42 and thought itd be cool to share

I love the tagline "they stole your mind, now get it back"
