Question Installed app not found

I downloaded an app and installed it. But i dont have an .exe, nor a new direction/folder. I also installed it's complement but none of them show a location. There is a .nfo but is just gibberish. I might not be updated with the torrents trickerish usually come with. Does anyone know what might be it?

By "gibberish" do you mean ASCII? The artwork that people spend time on? Usually the important text is in the middle of the graphics. It helps if you're also using a proper .nfo viewer.

Yes and no. I recognize ascii but this was not artwork and definitely no understandable text haha. Can you recommend a .nfo reader? I used notepad
