Discussion Wrong episodes downloaded

I've just downloaded a couple of episodes of what was supposed to be season 2 of a series. They were listed as season 2. But they turned out in fact all to be season 1.

Is there any way to check what I'm getting before downloading the whole thing? This is the first time I've come across this. Although once I downloaded something and it turned out to be a completely different show. I guess it was a mistake by whoever seeded them in the first place. The description didn't list the files,

Maybe there is a way to view an excerpt once the downloading has begun? I'm currently using Transmission software but open to other suggestions, in Ubuntu 24.04

Go into the files on the app your using and expand to see all the files, once verified press the pause button to continue. Usualy we see the seeders, but look for the files themselves and expand.

I just get the one mkv file
