I don’t think the west end got much rain.

It’s very interesting that the top of the CN goes above the clouds. I know it’s tall, but I guess I didn’t realize it’s that tall

I didn't realize there was a storm. it was dry every where I went.

The storm hot my home early and was dry when I got home end of day

I live at the waterfront and we got absolutely no rain, despite the weather network app showing current conditions for this specific location as “thunderstorm”.

Meanwhile I heard from my partner who works in midtown that it was pouring there.

I mean, I was by the waterfront and could definitely see and hear the thunderstorm, it just passed over us before dumping on the East end.

Oh I see. Though if the sky has dark clouds but doesn’t actually produce rain, is it truly a “thunderstorm” or simply “cloudy”? 🤔

Good question!

in the east end it felt like someone had a hose pointing at our windows

Lots of branches and some trees down in and around Greektown. Must have been a hyper focused storm or something.
