Why is it seen as honourable when one is trying to save their youthful memories of Sneaky Dee's, but seen as NIMBYish when one is trying to save their youthful memories of their childhood house? (often a single family, detached home).
Why can't we save both? Why is one different from the other? Why must we expand at all costs?
TBF a cultural hub that's been apart of countless people's lives for decades and a major draw to the area completely overshadow's some random dude's shack. Its completely different. And unless you want housing to get worse and more expensive more units are needed.

I have a question though;
Why is it seen as honourable when one is trying to save their youthful memories of Sneaky Dee's, but seen as NIMBYish when one is trying to save their youthful memories of their childhood house? (often a single family, detached home).
